Arnold 09- What a #^#*ing Day!

Bring on the pics guys, this is awesome. We were looking for Big Ron but couldn’t find him on Saturday.

I think this is Johnnie Jackson?

Darrem Charles

Keep the pictures coming guys! This is great.

I think this is Johnnie Jackson? That company had by far the biggest booth with the most celebs.

Jay with a booth babe.

Alex with Jay.

Just for perspective Alex is around 240 lbs in this picture.

Biggest highlight of the day; meeting Matt Kroczaleski.

He was by far the most legit guy that we met at the Arnold- very laid back, very open to questions and overall just really cool. I asked him a couple questions about how he balanced training and running when he was in the Corps and he was more than happy to oblige.

On that note, that’s all the pictures that I have.

i gotta go there next year.

Thanks a lot for posting the pictures, everyone.

You guys are making me plan a trip to the next Arnold.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!? lol

Lou Ferrigno had his own booth with a bunch of assistants in Hulk t-shirts.

Only $25 a shirt … or $40 if you want it signed!

I thought it was funny that right next to Lou was where Ronnie Coleman was meeting and greeting people for free. Not sure if he was giving out free autographs but I guarantee you it was for far less than Lou.

The weekend was definitely awesome though. I’ll try to add some pics when I get some time.
I read an interview a few years ago with Darrem Charles and two other “big name” bodybuilders where the interviewer asked them who the biggest asshole in bodybuilding was. Without hesitation they all answered “Loe Ferrigno”. Great pics fellas.

This was Greg Doucette’s opening deadlift of 583. This guy was in 181 and you only get a vague impression of just how much mass he was carrying from the picture. He put up 588/506/616 for a 1710 total.

The man was crazy- he’d competed in the Con-Cret Raw comp the night before and got 467/412 (!!) /583 for a 1466 raw total. Two powerlifting comps in two days, and he was two weeks out from a bodybuilding competition!

He was by far the most impressive lifter that I saw at this meet.
That’s the dude who beat my coach in the Con-Crete challenge. He dropped down from the 198s, I think, and still managed to have an insane bench. Beastly!!!

Pretty sure that’s Dave Henry.

Cool pics though. Gonna have to go one of these years.

…and like he is still pissed bout losing Mr. O. He doesn’t look like he want to be there.

So what was his answer?

How about Jamie Eason pics!?

Anyone do the Marines pull up contest?

GNC Grip Gaunlet pics?

More strongman pics!

Eat a lot, supplement if you can. Long runs (5+ miles) are going to affect you no matter what so try to plan around them if you can. Otherwise don’t train any different.

Yeah, that blonde’s got a wedding ring on, and If I found a punter doing that to my wife, I would not be amused…

Oh, BTW it’s spelled “Noogie”…
