Imagine the 140 pound frat boy asking what this dude curls…
Yet the god of armwrestling Brzenk still owns him. Incredible.
Yeah, and from what I remember of Brzenk, he isn’t really even a true heavy. He at least used to pull at both 230 (I think) and HW.

I think he averages 220-ish most of the time.

surely he’s cheating just a tiny bit by dropping to the floor using his whole body weight to pull the guys down?! if you are gonna arm wrestle at least do it right
Where’s his hat? The one he turns around, like a switch, and then becomes like, like a truck.

HA! Bingo. I was hoping someone would get it.
I was surprised it wasn’t referenced earlier.

What most amazed me was how fast he got rocked by John Brzenk.
I mean, based off the video this is a guy who has an incredible amount of strength…and in a related video Brzenk put him down in about five seconds.
Arm wrestlers rule. We need more of those guys around here.
LOL—I just started training for AW a few months ago. All of the top armwrestlers are bad ass.
Brzenk is the man.
One of my training partners is 3rd int he world left–he went up against Denis a few months ago in Poland, and lost.

google gary goodrich, a guy who was a b-level pride mma fighter, beat the shit out of john brzenk on a regular basis. when i first started watching mma, i remember seeing him and recognizing him, “hey1 that s the arm wrestling guy! wtf?” lol

Uh, that is the right way. Proper technique essentially locks the elbow in position, and the wrist and body are used to move the opponent.
Or, all of the people who compete in AW all over the world are doing it wrong.
lol@ him looking like Matt Damon if he took HGH for 10 years straight.
dudes forearms are absolutely retarded.
denis cyplenkov. i want to know how he trains. there are some videos on his website for arm-wrestling specific forearm and bicep training. i’m gonna experiment with some of this stuff… i want scary forearms too.

He competes (or competed) in strongman stuff. I suspect he trains like most Russian armwrestlers I’ve looked up (1 arm flexed arm hangs, fat bar curls, pullups held at the top etc.)

It’s the measurements normal people use.
His competition style raw bench:
