I have been eating lots of yogurt with the acidophillus cultures in it, and my stomach and intestines have never felt better. I would always get the occasional pain in my stomach. Yogurt with acidophilus helps produce lactase which helps break down milk sugar, and now i haven’t had them since.
Bumping this post!
This past weekend I saw my Dr. and he seems to think that, I too; am intolerant of the lactose! Ahh! This sucks! I love cheese and milk!
Its been a few days without it; but I feel good.
Lactaid is AMAZING.
I’m getting my milk/cheese calories now from some EVOO and a few slight adjustments in my diet. I have a few bottles of fiber that I got super cheap that I’m going to finish off before snagging the mixable stuff suggested by X.
I’m lactose intolerant and have never had a problem with Metabolic Drive.
Been using various protein/MRP supplements since the 80’s and haven’t found anything else that I like as well.
I get free milk every day and that’s part of the reason why i don’t take whey protein. Would there be any benefit in adding benefiber to milk? To aid digestion and all that? thx
IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH DIGESTING MILK; YES…BENEFIBER IS GOOD.
IF NOT, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
CAPS LOCK!!!
If your lactose intolerant, do you absorb less of the protein and nutrients in milk?
