Umm, no. I’ve actually stopped recycling because I don’t feel like walking to the blue dumpster 20 feet away from the green dumpster. I’ve also taken the catalytic converter of my truck now that I got it smogged. I did it right in the parking lot of the shop that smogged my truck. It’s a V10. It puts out some narly fumes. I buy the little Kirkland Signature waters, that I’m so fond of, from Costco and throw those in the dumpster as well. I guess I’m contributing to the problem.
I have thought about this whole global warming issue and despite what evidence there is (on both sides of the issue), I generally don’t like massive pollution going into the environment. I love the outdoors and mother nature, and while I won’t consider myself a full fledged tree-hugger, I do believe we should respect our environment more. I say screw the whole global warming issue altogether, lets make better efforts to be cleaner and you solve alot of issues right there.

Well then you should be very satisfied with progress over the last few decades. Lakes are cleaner, the air is cleaner, we have net reforrestation, ect. I am with you. I love the outdoors.

Here’s a question: If global warming was conclusively proven to be independent of human actions, would government bureaucrats scrap all the rules, regs, taxes, and so on?
The answer to THAT question should tell everyone the real agenda behind the global warming story.

I am not trying to mow anyone else’s lawn here, but it’s nice to be able to go to the beach, lakes, or mountains and not choke because the air is so bad. I agree that we really don’t know what the real agenda is behind global warming. I believe that there are some scare tactics going on, but if people can agree to just appreciate a blue sky without a shit ton of smog I think the world will be a better place. I live at the bottom of a big mountains, the Hollywood Hills, and on most days I cannot see the top of the mountain since the air is so bad. It’s pathetic.

I agree with the spirit of this. Most people see a value in nature and want to conserve what we have for future generations. Regardless of one’s thoughts on Global Warming, we can all agree on this I think.
I ran over a row of sapplings yesterday night. My Ipod was playing some really gay shit and when I went to grab it it fell out of the dock and on the floor somewhere. So I ducked down to grab it and somehow got up on the divider and did 4-6 little trees in. Oops.

I would think that we had so much global warming would have been highest in the 80-90s. All this is is a another way for people to get control of you and what you do. No, Are you stoopid or somtin? Global warmin doesn’t always mean the globe is warmin, See sometime it sets to coolin, WHILE it’s a warmin. Think of it like leaven a cold beer out in the sun, at first, the can is cold, but then it gets colder cause like ice and stuff is all on the outide of the can, so it’s getting colder but it’s in the sun, which means it’s getting warmer too, but like eventurraly it gets warm as piss and the ice melts off the can and it tastes like goat piss. So if a warmin beer gets worser when it’s too hot, then a warmin globe must get wroser too.

A lake could have been cleaned, but I seriously doubt that they’re cleaner on average. Besides, clean or no clean, the extinct fish species ain’t coming back. And don’t let me get started on the global quality of air…

Same here. I believe we should be good stewards of the land and pass things on at least as good as we found them, but I’m skeptical of all of these crises that keep popping up. “Peak water”, What the fuck? I think the crisis is just about giving suburbanites something to worry about other than themselves, and these “green” products are marketing gimics.
