Are Partial Squats More Effective?

LOL, who’s the bozo? You will not listen and think

Why are we externally weaker in the stretched position? The leverages. JUST LIKE YOU POSTED AJ saying above in that AJ quote, MECHANCIAL leverage advantages near the top of the squat.
You don’t train a muscle at various lengths, a muscle contracts and creates tension at any length, it’s just BECAUSE of the very poor leverages near the resting length, the muscle itself has to be stronger in that range. THINK about it, come on, THINK!!!

You’re correct - I do.

I was being overly generous with “background or education in”. I went to West Point back when you had to take an engineering track (I think your major selection is wide open now), so I was leaning on my basic coursework there as my mechanical engineering background. Essentially, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

lol, Gotchya. I know the majors are pretty open these days, but they still make all students take a ton of engineering and STEM courses, so you get weird degrees like a bachelors of science in Poli Sci (yours truly haha)

everyone knows what you’re talking about including myself, that’s way behind what im talking about. as far as how dumb you sound saying that stuff. well go listen to athlean-x. clearly that’s where your knowledge is at.

I now highly doubt you even have the ability to understand this, I tried to help, but you are so stuck on the flat earth equivalent of this info., I really doubt you will ever allow yourself to learn and understand. What you are talking about is 50 years in the past. And even then, you are ignoring or not even understanding AJ’s info. on leverages, let alone simple muscle physiology. At least you can feel special since you are the only one who doesn’t get this.

Did someone say Max Pyramid? In this thread @planet_healh (suspended) talks about infinite weight progression! Planet_healh not only misspelled his user name, but also managed to wreak havoc in the forum back in 2020. I do wonder if Bane actually is planet_healh?

Bane is not Planet. Planet, or Grant as he was in the old forum, would ignore any comments, criticisms, and insults. I think he truly enjoyed the backtalk, and by ignoring it, claimed victory. He was a great troll.

Bane has begun name calling and insults, responding to every perceived slight, having become so entrenched in his own corectness that everyone else must be wrong, so he must argue for the sake of arguement. Every time he responds, he digs himself deeper and deeper. This only prolongs his agony.

Neither is or was willing to post a pic, which would have ended all ridicule if they could show the results they claimed.

when im right i stand on it.

What do you do when you are wrong?

Name call on the internet

This hasn’t ever happened to me, but if it did I would watch a classic Steven Seagal film to better visualize myself with no flaws.

I’d rather be wrong and look like I am right, than to be right and look like I had only been wrong.

Then you need to watch a Chuck Norris flick instead of Seagal

Can you give me a link to this max pyramid program using a barbell? I have seen his video’s using machines but never heard anything about a barbell program. Thanks

I think he is somewhat an opportunist. He wrote Max Contraction and Max Golf.

He has his hands in some of Mentzer’s books that came out after his death. Although I was told most of High Intensity the Mike Mentzer Way was just about done before he added a few changes.

This is even more interesting. He has a youtube channel called Heavy Duty Collage. I wonder if he has any rights to Heavy Duty now that Joanne Sharkey has passed.

He was also involved in McGuff’s book Body by Science.

He wrote an article about one of Mentzer’s older routines.

That website is mike-mentzer.com It’s worth checking out to see who else is involved.

on the rights thing, I had actually asked him about that, he said no, he didn’t get any rights or anything after Joanne passed

you are what’s wrong with the world

I don’t believe the problems of the world are as simple as that.

But you are entitled to your wrong opinion. Do you believe that I am clueless on how to build muscle, yet managed to build much more than you, who has the secret to building muscle?

I think he really does, which boggles my mind. We see a lot of this where folks actually use their own lack of success as proof they’ve had to really figure it out.

That sure isn’t a formula for success in the marketplace.
