I believe he may have picked it up from studying ancient cultures economics. Not only is he an economist but an anthropologist as well. He has found out that in times of antiquity personal, not business, debts were forgiven often. Would-be kings would try and use this as a way of getting the people of a city to be on his side as he was going to try and take the city over. It stopped when the creditors got together and started killing those who promised to wipe away debt. Too bad the debtors never got together and had the creditors killed. The wiping away of debt is even mentioned in the Bible. In the book of Leviticus it was called the Jubilee Year.
People who are healthy don’t need the “healthcare” system often. So being healthy is of no value to pharma. Do you see why pharma drugs aren’t formulated to get people healthy as they are of no value to the for-profit “healthcare” system in the U.S. Dumbshit.
The assertion was made of how pharma is instrumental in increasing life expectancy. Don’t see it. I see a decrease in the U.S. and sub-par to other countries. Hmmm… and here I thought we have the greatest “healthcare” in the world.

They didn’t and had lawsuits brought up against them.
In most calculations risk is involved. They made billions while knowingly killing lots of people-Those deaths didn’t matter to them but profits did.
This is a question for management and more specifically the bean-counters. They are the ones who calculate the cost, including payouts from lawsuits.
And if it wasn’t for Vioxx then hundreds of thousands would be alive. This drug killed them and lots of profit was made from it. But as long as you’re alive I guess it’s okay.
And as stated prior the for-profit “healthcare” system has no financial incentive to make it so people don’t need them anymore. If you can’t understand that OR don’t want to then you are either incredibly stupid or need a serious deprogramming.
