Not bad. Forearms/wrists felt much better, but still a little pain in my right wrist. Wrapping it seemed to help. I’ll have to remember to be more conservative with the bench pressing.

If I’m extremely tight, like tight like a tiger, wrist doesn’t have pain. The reverse band set up seemed to help with the pain, since I feel most of the pain at the bottom of the press.

Was going to do some dead benching, but decided it’s probably better that I reduce the pressing and up the pulling, at least until my wrist/forearm is 100%.
Dunno if the pain in your forearms is the same as mine but might be worth trying some db pressing to make up for the lack of bb pressing? Mine kill when I press with a barbell but feel pretty good with dbs.
Still planning on maxing out on the big lifts?

I don’t plan on maxing until late November/early December. Focusing on getting in quality work and building strength.

Holy shitake mushrooms!!! Wasn’t sure what I could pull from a deficit, so I decided to sorta get a feel for it. Initially thought I’d max at 365, needless to say 405 was ez money. I was so surprised I even checked to make sure 405 was on the bar lol. Feels great to hit a PR, especially since my pressing has been rather lackluster.
Decided to take a page from CT and just call it a day after hitting a huge PR. I was planning on doing some RDLs, T-bar rows, shrugs, and using the ab wheel. Anyways I’ve got a lab to finish and a fizziks exam.
Nice deadlift dude, 405 went up really smoothly. You sure they weren’t fake plates or something brah’? ![]()

Gahd I suck at curling. Didn’t feel like doing these cuz I didn’t want to stay in the campus gym any longer, but senor bugeisha talked me into it.
Basically tried to get a feel for how today’s session will run in the future weeks. With not being 100% able to press, I’ll be trying to hammer my squat and DL. Gotta get 405 and 455 come December.
Errrm why are you attempting 225 on military? It’s too much! You’ve got no video so I’m just gonna take it as a lie. Pretty sure I’ll feel better about my own pressing that way

I watched the 225 attempt. It was very sexy, even though it was a miss. Went up a bout half way, sat there for a sec, then aborted.
Aqua is getting so big though, and his bench setup is flawless. I wanna be like him when i grow up.
Nice stuff in here. Putting 225 on the bar and moving it off your shoulders is no easy feat. My god. Seems to be the mans speciality. My campus gyms bars bend and platforms implode. It “looks” like it’s made for weightlifting but when any poundages are used things begin to fall apart quickly lol. A 700lb deadlifter who had graduated but came to check it out put the floor down about 2" but playing with 250kg/550lb… pretty sure that’s why they invested in platforms actually… normal floors = fail

@Getting Closer: lol in retrospect 225 was a bit of a stretch considering how the previous lifts felt, live and learn. Yeah, I’m glad the DB pressing is all good, I just need to get better at kicking them up and what not.

Took a long nap and was feeling a bit sluggish, so decided to go and lift something.
Did a bunch of band pull aparts and rear delt flies. Did lots of cleans and snatches until I felt that I lost my ‘explosiveness’.
Good stuff.

Took awhile to get warmed up and loose, but it’s better to spend a bit more time warming up and having a decent session, than being hard headed and getting hurt. Technique was kinda meh. Felt light headed after these, water seemed to help. Need to drink moar water.
