Trying to remain focused and positive today…
My husband was given the choice to ‘volunteer to go,’ or roll the dice and wait two weeks to do this mess all over again…there are 6 more billets coming up…
If he volunteers he can choose between Cuba or Afghanistan…he’s going with Afghanistan. He’s heard too many horrible things about the prisoners down in Cuba flinging poo day in and day out, he doesn’t think he could hang with that…

But I asked him, wouldn’t wiping poo off be easier to deal with, than dodging bullets?

It’s official!

He’ll leave in June for two months of training…come home for leave 8/18-27th…leave 8/28 and come 5/29/11

I guess it’s best to decide now, rather than wait to be told…still sucks…but at least now we know!

Off to the gym to take my anger out on a barbell…

So sorry to hear that MIM, but like you said, at least he was able to make the decision himself and take some control over the situation. I hope the time flies by & he’s home safe & sound before you know it.

Squats x a million x 115(up from 95lbs)

chin ladders- up to 8, up to 6, up to 6, up to 4, up to 4, up to 3, 3, 2,2,1

This took awhile!

Tried out 135 with the squat…it had been awhile…think it went well…

Tricep oh ext- 20lbs(+5lbs) 60(+20reps) reps in 10 min

Barbell complex- 65lbs on all sets:mad:

Take the angry out on the squat bar and put more weight on it! Bodyweight squat, at least – if I can do it, so can you.
