I’m with you on that. When characters just started saying ‘time travel’ I thought it was a bit too ‘easy’, as well.

They actually hinted that the island was “out of place” in time last season. Remember when they were firing the rockets or whatever they were from the ship and timing them?
So this season they just confirmed and elaborated on what they started last season.
so far this season is sucking IMO.
The whole intrigue of Lost was the “unknown”. The show has run its course IMO.

The problem is you can only keep the same unknown for so long. You have to answer people or they give up. That is why the second season went downhill so much.
Third season was spent answering questions and creating new mysteries, looks like they are doing the same again this season, which will play well.
Second season I almost gave up, and my wife did give up. Third season brought it back, and now the same recipe is being used.
