Anyone Use Rhodiola Rosea?

I use it.

Sometimes I take it first thing in the morning along with some BCAA tabs before doing fasted cardio… I noticed a hell of a difference in endurance and subtle mood elevation(not drug-like in a Spike way; different). Kicked in about day three. I also use it before training as well(so up to twice a day)… again, it works very well… There were times I couldn’t get through some complex lifts without sipping a little Surge. With the RR I usually forget/don’t need it until the end, I kid you not. lol What’s fun is taking it before you know you’re gonna get some. Crazy endurance lol Another great product from Biotest IMHO.

Its a staple supp for me. I just hate having to cycle off it, though, I understand why you have to.

I find it helps with my mood, recovery and general endurance. Its especially good during intensive training periods.

A regular Spike Shooter is only 300mg a caffeine, red bull is even less.

That’s NOT that much, are you sure you aren’t just imagining it?

Well, I have 200 mg caffeine in coffee every morning, and if I skip it, I get pretty bad withdrawal – horrible headache that won’t go away, energy crash, irritability, etc.

give it 3-4 days and the headaches should go away.

try to learn to live without it ie sleep more, eat breakfast if you’re not, etc

I agree with this, every time I take my caffeine/HRX cocktail a few days in a row then stop, I get a headache for a day afterward, it’s not big deal, it does go away.

Have you ever tried holding off for a few days instead of just one and done?

Just to clarify there is no piracetam in Spike…

I think a good way to “not use caffeine” is to start on the weekend, when you don’t need to work a lot, and either just don’t take any then and resume on Monday or use it as a starting point for lessening the doses.

Are you trying to tell me to give up coffee, jehovasfitness?

ARE YOU??

Maybe I’m a non-responder to Rhodiola Rosea. I’ve been on it for over a week, and I seem to be having more and more headaches.

The only change in my supplementation is that I switched over to TRIBEX from Alpha Male.

I take it in the morning and in the afternoon, on an empty stomach. I usually take a HRX pill; maybe that’s my problem.

Jeez, why don’t you throw a few more variables into the equation while you’re at it.

Does anyone know where the evidence for it dealing with ADHD is? I can’t seem to find any.

It’s recommended to take Rhodiola rosea on an empty stomach. Does that mean to take without any other supplements? Sometimes it’s fine to take various supplements at the same time, is Rhodiola rosea one of them?

You might be hyper-sensitive to Yohimbine and that would explain your headaches. I know a small percent of the population (me being one of them) can not tolerate Yohimbine at all with out severe headaches.

I just picked up some Rhodiola Rosea and was wondering what kind of dose people are having success with. (1 pill/2x daily or 2 pills/2x daily)

Also I’m curious if this is something that will become a staple supplement for some. Meaning is there anybody out there that will simply cycle in the 3:1 on/off ratio and stay on it for a lengthy period of time. . . or is that a complete waste?

I love it. I plan to cycle off as directed, but use it as much as possible.

I’ve taken 1 pill/1x and 2 pills/1x but usually forget to take it a second time.

I have been using Rhodiola Rosea for the past month, and I prefer it more as a remedy rather than a preventive supplement.

I don’t use it on a daily basis, but I use it after I get a headache, it helps relieve the pain. I have also used it right before workouts, and the next day, the soreness isn’t as bad as it usually is.

I don’t suppose anyone here has tested it in PCT?

From its description this sounds like a good time to use it.

I took my first capsule just before noon today. It’s almost one o’clock and I’m afraid to pop the Spike tab I normally take because the RR has me so amped up. I don’t think it’s a psychological reaction b/c I was not expecting any type of energy effect from it.

I’m very interested in this supplement b/c I’m prone to getting sick whenever I really turn up my training frequency. I’m starting to feel a little cold coming on from incresing workouts over the past 2 weeks. I’m hoping the RR will help in this regard.

I used it, didn’t notice shit.
