Has anyone used a 26 gauge 5/8" needle? I just switched from using 25 gauge 7/8" for the last year. 5)8" should be plenty long still for IM in the quad right?
I do IM using 29 gauge insulin syringes and am 30 % BF, I hit muscle everytime.
How long is the needle? 29 gauge is just the needle thickness.
Man can you make a video of showing how to inject IM with 29?
Go to YouTube and type in intramuscular injection how to. When you see the needle they use just imagine it is smaller.
I assume he’s saying how are you getting in a muscle with a 29g insulin needle , they only make them to a certain length ……so just watching a video of a 1" or 1.5" needle injection doesn’t do justice . 1/2 "is prob the shortest one can go im and that’s gonna be shallow . Gtta be lean too. I just recently switched to 27g 5/8 and in my delt def went IM. I do delts , pecs and thighs …all should be easy IM @vonko1988
Yes, I think its different
Half an inch, most insulin syringes are 1/2" or 5/8 do to the needle size being smaller.
