Anyone Try this Matt Kroc Program?

A while back Matt Kroc posted about his 12 weeks to ridiculous wheels article and it looked pretty cool. I just had my first meet this past weekend and was looking for different spin on training after being on 5/3/1 for about 10 months to break things up. I figured I’d use the percentages and layout for Press, Deadlift, and Bench as well, and just change the assistance exercises. I think I’m going to try it starting this week and run a 4 day split. Any thoughts on this program or anyone try it?

Can’t speak to this program specifically, but I have followed his 16 week bench press workout laid out in Insane Training and found it to be effective. I’m on my second run of it right now, just finished week 5.

He seems to have a good handle on programming, I don’t think you’ll go wrong to follow it.

That looks like a solid program with a good balance of volume and intensity. I haven’t seen a program switch between volume and intensity every week like that but I can see it complementing each other. It’s nice that each week can be focused strictly on volume or strictly on intensity too.
