Anyone on TRT Travel to Aruba with Meds?

Hey all, I just booked a week long trip to Aruba and was thinking about how customs will react to seeing syringes. So I checked out the Aruba airport site, and the only reference to syringes says “Unlimited number of unused syringes when accompanied by insulin.” My clinic sends me prefilled syringes they receive from a pharmacy in Florida and not vials. Also, there is a label on the prefilled syringe stating that it is Test Cyp, but the prescription label is in the name of the nurse at the clinic I go to - not mine and I’m scared that customs will not let it through and definitely don’t want to be without it for a week. Does anyone have any experience taking prefilled syringes through customs, and especially when they are not in their own name?

A lot of people have traveled with no issues, but they had a prescription in their name.
How long are you going to be there and what is your usual dosing schedule?

I’d probably just take some extra before I left and call it good if I was worried. Otherwise, I suppose call the dr and get ask for a prescription for 1 vial or syringe in your name for your travels that you can take with you. Or maybe get a note from them that you are under their care and they have prescribed test cyp in this fashion with a phone number you can call.
I’m not really sure if the meds being in the nurses name is kosher, that sounds off to me.
If they wont help you solve this, when you get back find another dr.
Anyway, preloaded syringes are BS.

@wolf369 thanks for the reply. Yeah I expected it to be in my name, but I’ve only been on trt for about a month and didn’t know if this was the way clinics do it…judging from your response they apparently all dont. I think I’ll ask to get one in my name to avoid any issues and see what they say. I’m on 50mg 3e.5 pinning Monday night and Friday am. It’s a Friday to Friday trip so missing that Monday one would suck, not sure how much I’d crash though…that’s what I’m worried about. As far as the prefilled syringes, I dont really see many if any people on here using them. Are they a sterility concern? I would have no problem doing it the standard way but that’s the way they do it so I just thought it was normal.
