most men would be better off swapping beer with milk. instead of 4 pints of beer and half a pint of milk, drink 4 pints of milk and half a pint of beer a day.
Seconded. My current standard daily intake is four liters of milk and half a liter of strong beer (occasionally 2/3 or one liter).

yeah I flipped that to 1 litre of milk and waay too much cider today at the beer festival and now i am paying the price … cider is 8% alcohols
If I tried harder, I might be dead.
Now that’s dedication to the task!
Actually I agree with you, generally any hangover I have with better quality beers is mostly dehydration…whereas cheap beer just makes me feel like crap no matter what.

I have found that better beer does not give me a hangover. franzinkaner, guiness, chimay, and so on. Drinking won’t kill you, but drinking crap will.

If you can’t get a hangover off Guinness, your just not trying!
Guinness in America, yes hangover.
When in Ireland on our honeymoon it was a different story. Many, Many, Many pints down the hatch and never a hangover.
When I expressed my surprise at this phenomenan to a local old-timer he look flabbergasted that I would expect a hangover from Guinness. He remarked, "Hangover, from guinnes, why would ya lad. For fek’s sake, its good for you…
