Anyone Ever Worked at Mcdonalds?

Yeah dude, if you’re young it isn’t quite as crucial. Don’t go crazy with milkshakes and fried pies and stuff, but as long as you’re eating something close to real meat you’ll be alright. I worked at McDonald’s when I was a kid, you’ll have a blast lol

Don’t worry about it dude. I used to eat McDonald’s every day for years. Sometimes 3 times a day… As long as you aren’t just going for fries and pies and crap you should be fine. Just look at the nutrition info and try to get in as much actual meat as you can.
This.

Just eat meat (non-fried) – chicken or beef. Eat the salad with a crumbled burger patty in it. Water. A double egg mac (double the egg, one thing of bread, no Canadian bacon) is a solid breakfast.

There is plenty of good food to eat at fast food places. People are just too lazy to do it.

I don’t work at McDonalds, but my eating template would probably work for you.

Eat a meal before you go to work. Mix up something like 4 scoops of protein powder for a shake that you can drink from whenever you get a chance during your shift. Eat 1 McDonalds meal while you’re at work. Eat a meal after work. This is essentially what I do, except my lunch is dinner leftovers rather than McDonalds.

You get 3 whole meals, only 1 of which is McDonalds, and you supplement with a shake throughout the day, or at breaks. Pretty simple solution.

i am srs man lol
Me too.

I looked at the McD nutritional list and came to the conclusion that the double quarter-pounder is the best single burger you can eat from there in regards to nutrition the ratio of protein:fat:carbs.

All the other burgers tend to have far too much fat and carbs in relation to the protein.

As others said, there isn’t anything actually wrong with McD burgers (unless they do prove that the way they package and preserve the shit is bad for you…), it’s more the fries and the drinks that fuck you up. Too much carbs.

You do not have to eat six meals a day.
This. I wasted a decade eating like this.

God almighty, this is the guy who was worried that partying would disrupt his ‘bodybuilding discipline’

Now it’s the 6 meals a day or I’ll loze ma gainz spiel.

No offence dude but I wouldn’t be worrying about my meal plan. I’d be more concerned with the massive amounts of cortisol being pumped into your bloodstream as you stress over the small stuff.

Just enjoy the process. You’ll fuck up along the way however you’ll be all the better for it.

And take advantage of those double cheeseburgers ffs.

Dude I have said this before almost verbatim hahaha!

Spread your macros over three or four meals rather than six. You do not need to eat every six hours provided the macros for the day are the same. Perhaps you are one of those people who FEELS better with six smaller meals, but feeling better is exclusive from actual body comp and strength issues.

Oh, and a job is more important. So even if you did theoretically NEED six meals (which you don’t) and thereby your gains were gains were a bit less than optimal, your income doesn’t depend on it, nor is it affect by 50 pounds less on the bench or a few pound less muscle accrued.

Really fucking craving some McDonald’s lately.

eh, although everything I’m about to say has already been written…

I “feel better” with 6 (or 7) small feedings a day. When I’m training at my best, my belly starts making large noises every three hours or so. It’s pretty funny and people will make fun of me. So I kinda understand the thought… BUT… come on man, this is simple beyond belief.

24 hours/day = 1 meal every three hours + 6 hours for sleep. I like to “use the threes”. 6am, 9a, 12p, 3p, 6p, 9p. Don’t stress about missing an hour here your there. If you work, move your feedings to right before work and a shake during work. BOOM finished. Easy.

Are you still in High School?
