Anyone Ever Run Test while on Warfarin?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been on warfarin for about 9 years now due to having a bicuspid aortic valve that was replaced with a mechanical valve. I’ve been a life long lifter, I’m 34… was just unfortunately something I was born with and needed surgery. But everything is healthy with my heart since. NO BP issues, low heart rate cause I work 5-6 days a week. No other medications besides warfarin. Has anyone ran a cycle of test or ran TRT while on warfarin?

Any time I search online says they don’t mix well and could cause you to bleed easily. My INR has been very stable for 9 years, alcohol doesn’t seem to effect my INR too much so I think my body metabolizes it well. If anyone has ran the two… was it hard to adjust your dose to a safe limit? Or was it all over the place?

Thanks for any info

Hi Buddy,

I have not taken Warfarin while on TRT but I did read a study where scientists used Warfarin to intentionally cause calification of the arteries in mice. If that is true for humans also, did your doctors tell you to take Vitamin K2-MK7 to combat hardening of the arteries? In the study with the mice, they reversed the calcification of arteries with K2. I’m not a doctor but I read research posts on PubMed daily so this stuck out. If not already discussed, maybe it would be good to do some research and have a conversation with your doctor to see what they say. K2 also can affect how blood clots so I would definately speak with the doctor before adding it though.
