I haven’t read all the posts, correct me if I’m wrong but did a USA female Gymnast not get the gihest score out of all of the competitors, it was 16.900, the highest the Chinese got was 16.850.

If you guys want to talk about cheating - or at least the cover-boys for IOC clusterfucked judging - just watch a little Olympic Boxing.

We can at least agree on this, I can’t even watch that garbage and I love boxing. The only fair result I??ve seen was a stoppage on body punches.

That is correct. But the gymnastic judging has been very slow and erratic.
It happens every 4 years in almost every event that is determined by a set of judges.

Seems some folks are a bit myopic when defining “infraction of rights”.
Sorry for the hijack. Back to bitching about the Olympics.

When did Olympic boxing start wearing the headgear?
I just realized that I don’t think I’ve ever watched boxing in the olympics before, and I’m reminded of American Gladiators where everything is covered in padding.

There is a new scoring system being used this time, maybe this has affected it a bit.
All this shows that, no matter how well dressed or cleaned up a thug (the Chi-commes) is, they are still a thug. The facade about these gangsters put up by these Olympics is fading fast.

They have worn it as long as I can remember.

It doesn’t matter what scoring system they use. Olympic scoring has always been like a monkey fucking a football.

Christ you’re dim, Cletus.
That and a fragile ego’s wet dream.
You must be one of the dipshits.
Or one of the punk-assed teenagers.
Which is it? [/quote]
Yeah, the kid was a dipshit, but that didn’t warrant the cops behavior.
btw, if you wouldn’t mind pming me or something about what happened off camera, a link or something. That would be appreciated.

The only olympic boxing I’ve seen before this year was old tapes of Cassius and Lenox (84 and 88 I think). The Lenox fights had headgear, Cassius not. I guess I just expected Olympic boxing to have the rules of Professional and not Amateaur.

Take it to the other thread. No need to keep hijacking this one further.
The IOC is corrupt and China is corrupt and brutal. Unfortunately the US has not risen above making politics more important than the athletes either. This is shown over and over in something so simple and low level as Little League. There has probably never been an All-Star team selected solely on the merit of play. Always deserving players get left off so that some managers son or the son of someone on the board can get on. The human race will probably never rise above such pettiness.
PS. Mightymaus, I hope your story is bullshit because that’s one of the most sickening stories I’ve ever heard.

His story about his porn star quality looking wife and her equally hot sisters wherein said wife would be mad, but would understand if he banged aforementioned porn star hot sisters makes up for it.

Apparently I am not conveying my point adequately, so I will just shut up in the interests of not hijacking this thread further. If I were more clear in my point, I think we would agree, or not disagree as much as it seems.
If you manage to turn this thread into Officer Rivieri 2 I’ll be damn impressed.

I wasn’t directing that toward conflicting anything you wrote. More trying to point out the generalities I think we all agree on.
not to hijack the thread but does anyone else find the girls who do women gymnastics on team usa in the olympics or any women gymnasts in the usa incredibly sexy. I dont know maybe its just me but dam they turn me on lol
