Well I don’t know about you guys but i took a Heavy Duty this morning and let me tell you, even the neighbors were impressed. I’m getting it lacquered so I can put it in my trophy room.

The point is that theres a difference between trying to set a PR and using weights to maintain muscle mass. It’s not an all or nothing philosophy. Bodybuilders find a middle ground.

Correct. You don’t need to increase weights in order to MAINTAIN. So if you bench 200 pounds for 10 reps, and keep benching 200 for 10 for a 2 to 4 WEEKS, you’re not going to shrink!
