Anybody Use Coffee to Reduce Hepatotoxicity Due to Orals?

I’ve actually been using pressed milk thistle oil for 6 weeks now. I was hoping it’d reduce the slight bags under my eyes from tobacco smoking (which I quit in 2015)… but no luck so far.

I do have recent liver test results however, I’ll post those up later

Liver test results as part of comprehensive bloods. Mid March

Alkaline phosphatase 116 IU/L
Range: 40.0 to 129.0

Alanine transferase 37.6 IU/L
Range: 10.0 to 50.0

CK 73 IU/L
Range: 38.0 to 204.0

Gamma GT 25 IU/L
Range: 10.0 to 71.0

What were you taking?

To help my liver, just 10g of cold pressed milk thistle oil per day, for 30 days.

To harm my liver  my prescription meds - 75mg venlafaxine, 30mg mirtazapine per day & 60g of the gel in Testogel… Which seems to be 20g Of alcohol on my skin each day.

Are the liver values crappy/ok/quite good? I’ve no idea as didn’t ask for doctor feedback

Tey’re in the reference range so yes they’re good. Am not an expert though. Usually ALAT/ASAT raises like during heavy alcohol consumption. In some individuals there is no raise in numbers even one were to drink very heavily.

I was little bit worried when started d-bol. Because I like beer. In moderate amounts. But after starting orals I wasn’t fond of beer anymore. Has to do something with the dopamine and serotonin metabolism which methandrostenolone affects. Actually a good antidepressant. I also take 200mg lamotrigine and 1200mg lithium and 50mg quetiapine for type 1 bipolar. So I have my values checked once in a while. Should get my bloods done soon again.

I’ve started using organic cranberry juice today.

25ml of Biona brand, mixed in with sliced lemon in warm water. I’ll do that for 30 days (750 ml bottle) & see how I feel
