I just finished my college basketball career and I wanted to get into powerlifting. I don’t want to start doing it and mess up my body because of form (or lack thereof). Any help would be appreciated.

Learn the movements one step at a time. Be patient and until you got all the technique down solid, dont go under 4 reps.
find a good gym to train at, you live in CA so that could either help or hurt, i have no clue LOL.
I dont live in Ca so i cant help you with the gym, so if you dont find anyone, learn the technique (youube videos, read the shit here, and e-books.) and work your ass off.
From what I remember it’s about a 2 hour drive, but if you could get over there just a few times and learn some basic things it would help tremendousley.
