Which Blacks are you talking about? I went to the one in Rocky River, and they didn’t have any sort of strongman stuff.
We can put that in the center and big on the front of the shirt, then on the back we can put “nothin’ but a peanut” to keep with the ronnie theme.
Another idea could be that we do one of those “property of iron cats” t shits, and put XXXXXL under it, and make it like some old gray gym class shirt. then maybe names or nicknames or something on the back.
The bookstore was out of photoshop for macs when I was at orientation or I’d be wasting my time making some also. It’s just not worth it with my shitty PC.
And while we’re at it, why stop at shirts?
Bags, warm-ups, hats, butt plugs, socks, our own custom designed crocs???
I went there once for a Bench seminar but I am pretty sure it was in westside of cleveland. I can get the address again for you. It was a perfect PL gym, dirty no mirrors, nice…In Akron there is a Hardcore Bodybuilding gym called Bodybuilders.

yeah, that description doesnt sound like anything i would wanna be a part of.
Feels a bit too “general fitness” for my liking.[/quote]
That was one of the problems with Iron Cats. To be a sanctioned club, you pretty much have to let anyone join. A big thing for more “sport” related clubs is that you have to compete somehow. We contemplated trying to get a powerlifting club going but the interest just wasn’t there.

Is there some kind of loophole?
If we need to compete, can we hold an inter-gym competition type of thing? Every couple months just “compete” with each other within the club.
I’m not really sure, I’m messaging back and forth with the guy that created it to see where he want’s to go with it. It would be nice to be able to let only people in we deemed good enough. At the very least I don’t want the douches that don’t rerack weights or drop them just for the hell of it.
I did the unthinkable and moved to Ann Arbor after 27 years in Ohio.
I grew up in Dayton (west carrollton) and started lifting weights at the Miami Valley Weightlifting Club in Franklin. It was great going in on Saturday mornings and knocking beer cans off of the benches. You paid your $15 a month and they gave you a key, but occasionally we had to climb in through the window. Not a single cardio machine in the place, just a bunch of heavy shit. 24 hours, just turn the lights out when you leave.
I stopped working out there when I started a job at Wright-Patt Air Force Base and used their facilities.
Now I’ve got a cybex squat rack in the basement that I picked up at an auction, so its the home gym for me…
You’re in luck, then. They’ve been working on expanding the free weight section of the rec all semester, it might be ready for Summer. It’s very much needed.
