how far of drive do you have from Akron to Wadsworth?

I was in wadsworth last summer, one of my buddies little brothers graduated from high school so we decided that was a good enough reason to get together and buy a keg.

I drive by Lebron’s new house pretty often. So yeah, not far away.

A buddy of mine knows a kid from the Wadsworth area who has a pretty legit bench I believe. I want to say 400+ (maybe 450+) shirted

I work in cincy - commute in from civilization (AKA Kentucky).

I go to/ live next to University of Cincinnati and I’m currently co-oping downtown at Duke Energy. If you guys go to the UC rec I’ve probably seen you there…

Looks like we’re gonna be neighbors, I’m gonna be working and training at the UC rec.

I’ll be attending UC in the fall.

You’ll be working there? Does this mean you’ll let me get away with shit!!!??

I’ve been working out there for 4 years now, and the only time I ever got grief was when I had some BCAAs mixed in with a clear water bottle. Now I just use one you can’t see through.

Aside from that, it’s a really nice gym. There aren’t any rubber weights, but there are plenty of squat racks and benches, and they don’t bitch about heavy deadlifts.

That said, it is a college rec, so you have ‘hardass’ frat guys working out that don’t re-rack weights.

I’ll keep an eye out for guys in T-Nation gear.

I love it, I can’t promise anything but if you guys give me a weeks notice I can see what Louie says. It has been the biggest boost in my lifting I can recall. Training at the strongest gym in the world with people who can pick up the slightest imperfection in your form and correct it is like having the best workout of your life 4+ times a week.

It is one of the most incredible gyms I have ever trained at and the intensity is unmatched!! When you see these people train you can tell why they are the best in the world!

Grew up in Stow (Akron) area. Now live in Pittsburgh. I get back a couple times a year…

Red tribal logo or black HOT-ROX Body shirt, both sleeveless…

I look forward to spending much time there. I move in Sept 19th, so odds are I’ll be there then and the next 3 or 4 days until classes start.

I can imagine. That’s a heck of a good position you got yourself in laroyal. I don’t know much about your background, but reading a lot of the advice you’ve given you seem to have a good sense of everything. Learning from CP and LS…props man. Good luck and happy lifting!

BTW, I wouldn’t expect anything regarding Westside…I can just imagine that’d be a killer experience.

laroyal, you ever train there on sundays?

Every Sunday,Monday,Wednesday and Friday

I saw this well done documentary last night about the Ohio State and Michigan rivalry. This has eluded me in the past because I am from California, and I thought our rivalries were bad enough.

I had no idea the magnitude of how bad people of Ohio hate the people of Michigan and vise versa. Its downright rage between some people. Starting from a young age, sides are picked and war is waged. Just unreal.

I move in a week before you, I’ll be getting my uc certification to train people the first couple days so i should be set up and working there by the time you get in.

I’ll be sporting the red T-Nation logo on the black shirt when im training for sure.

Looks like we might have us a little real life UC T-Cell in the making.

I wear a Michigan shirt probably once a week and people will yell fuck Michigan at me from their cars.

Wow, there are a lot of people on here that are from Ohio.

I’m in C-bus right now. Go Bucks

Having a good hard rivalry is fine. So is everything that comes with it. (i.e. working extra to try to beat your opponent)

But some of the stuff I’ve seen between OSU and UM people is downright stupid. Totally unncessary. Both sides are more similar than you think. Go Bucks, but if they lose, my world moves on.

laroyal, you’ve prob seen the wolfe pack train down there then. good buddies of mine, they train there every sunday and at my hometown gym up a little north of c-bus the rest of the time. You might know him as the guy benching in the high 800’s?

Willoughby, ohio. Im now playing for lake erie college, a new division 2 program in northeast ohio.

There are some real beasts in there on Sundays! I usually go in around 9 with the interns. I am sure I have seen them in there. I just started there 2 weeks ago. It is amazing!

It is hard to believe the weights these guys lift until you actually see it. I have a long ways to go before I am putting up those kind of numbers:-)

Why do I never see any of you studs around?

Sigh.

I’m from the upper-right corner of the state, location undisclosed due to potential pervs

GO BUCKS!

Ya no shit. hes got WEST on one forearm and SIDE on the other. THink hes dedicated at all? lol

Wait, doesn’t everyone that trains there have some sort of tattoo like that
