Is there any reason to dilute premixed HCG? For 2000iu/ml, 250iu’s is 12.5 units using a .5 cc insulin pin or 5 units in the same pin for 5000iu/ml. Am I missing anything here?
No, and I mix hCG to 2000iu/ml myself.
So it comes as 2000/ml or 5000/ml?
Right, from ADC, Hucog premixed is available in, 2000, 5000, or 10,000 iu/ml. I get the 5000 iu/ml so that I get 19 or 20 doses (250 iu’s EOD) and it lasts up to forty days so the age hopefully isn’t a problem. It is not refrigerated when I receive it but I refrigerate it once it arrives.
i just received the pre-mixed 5000 iu/ml hcg. I guess I can just inject 5iu right out of the bottle then. Could I also inject another 1ml of bacto water into the vial of 5000 hcg? Then I could use 10iu on the slin pin for sub-q injection, right? 5iu is such a small amount!
5000iu/ml is too concentrated. Yes add BA water. If you can get 2.5ml for 2000iu/ml that would be good too. Just get the math right. You could pull some BA water [BAC] into the syringe, then pull “5iu” of the 5000iu/ml hCG and inject that.
Do not add saline water to the hCG, must be BA water [which can include saline]. If you do not have BA water, use the hCG as is.

Thanks! I ended up adding 3ml BA water to the 5000iu/ml vial. If my math is right that will be 20iu injection for 250iu hcg. oh geez, or is it 15iu!!! could someone please verify that! I’m confusing myself…
There are 20 250iu doses in 5000iu. So divide 4ml by 20 and you get 0.2ml or 20iu on an insulin syringe.
ahhhh…thanks!
