Any fans of Whose Line Is It Anyway?

I used to watch this show all the time. If you don’t know what it is, its an improv comedy show that used to air on ABC. And in the BBC in the early 90’s.

I freaking love this show, it’s genius.

Quickest…reply…ever.

But yeah, I loved it too.

Would you two get a room?!?!?!?!

(I got your back, wol.)

Good fucking show. The girls always suck on it.

Great show. I’m amazed how fast and witty the ALL are. Especially when they do lyrics/sing etc. Thats a REAL talent.

Question - there’s a UK and US version of this show? I seem to remember a host that WASN’T Drew Carey.

EDIT - sorry Wol said BBC and ABC. Forget my question.

This show has had me gasping for air from laughing so hard.

On a related note, Drew Carey doesn’t come across the least bit funny anymore especially on the Price Is Right.

Used to LOVE this show. Colin Mockery and Ryan Stiles were hilarious together. And Wayne Brady’s singing improv was also very very impressive. Also, everyone else on the show. Drew Carey was pretty much always the least funny person there.

I would watch it whenever it was on. Some funny stuff for sure came out of that show.

“Negrodamus, why do white people love Wayne Brady so much?”

“White people love Wayne Brady, because he makes Bryant Gumbel look like Malcolm X.”

It was a show in the UK first. I’m pretty sure it aired on channel four, not bbc but thats irrelevant really. Most of the regular comedians were the ones who were also on the US version. It then got bought up by the US and went off the air in the UK.

Those guys are funny as hell.

I miss that show. They probably stole the idea from from Britain like most of the good ones.

A friend of mine used to work at second city which was a dinner then a comedy sketch show thing after you ate. He used to stay behind after work just to be around the comedians because they are even funnier when no ones around and it’s just them. Like any job you get better at it with practice.

I know, people somehow think that Brits aren’t funny. Hell, the Office got ripped off from them. Monty Python, funny funny shit. I love British humour, although my wife thinks I’m crazy. Red Dwarf, awesome scifi comedy.

Anyone ever see the Young Ones? That’s fucking hilarious.

How did I miss this thread?! I love that show!

Favorite show moment of all time:

The prompt: things to do with your dead relative’s ashes.

The bald guy (I don’t know names) comes out with a make-believe vaccuum cleaner and starts going to town.

Holy canoli. I thought this thread died a horrible death. I’m glad to see people with actual taste.

Yeah, even I used to watch it.

Hell, I still see the re-runs every now and then. It’s great!

Why do people like this show? Its low level comedy. Its almost worse than Robin Williams stand-up.

Robin Williams stand up was awesome, back when he was on coke.

So much hatorade.
