Haha I was the same way. Now my favorite song of theirs has switched to “Thank God for You” cuz my wife likes to blast it in my truck and sing along.

that FGL nelly remix was sweet,
Honestly, I’d say that ruined the original song. Nelly remix is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard lol.
See i disagree, but respect the opinion. I sill think that the original was better, but i enjoyed the remix

I liked it a lot. But they did take out my favorite verse of the song so I cant honestly say which one I like best.

Great minds.

I’d rather listen to nails on a chalkboard.

Country musics rise in popularity is the modern equivalent of disco.
Disco was better.

Old stuff is good: Willie, Cash and Hank come to mind. Most contemporary county music is nothing more than over-produced souless garbage.

Im a very picky country music fan. I pretty much ONLY like outlaw country. I love Waylon Jennings and David Allen Coe, listen to them all the time. I also enjoy Willie and Hank Williams Jr.

I cant stand the “Nashville sound” country, and i really dont like modern country either. Garth Brooks is terrible…

Great to see Townes, Hayes Carll, Lyle, REK, Gillian. I really like a great songwriter, which all of those guys truly are. For some reason Texas seems to make the best writers. A few I love: Guy Clark, Terry Allen, Ray Wylie Hubbard, the Robison brothers, Billy Joe Shaver, Jerry Jeff… Not a huge fan of Pat Green’s more recent albums, but Dancehall Dreamer was outstanding.

My other theme song:

I heard this song on the way to work this morning. Reminds me of when I was putting the old lady through law school and then she dumped me and sent me back to Arkansas lol

Took my kids to see Trace Adkins last week. He isn’t my favorite, but he did put on a good show and my kids had a blast. That guy is big. Tall and solid. I would say he puts in some time under the bar.

Tom Ames’ prayer is such a great song. Don’t need a chorus when you can write a story like that.

Yeah man, he was signing autographs after the show when I saw him. I’m not a massive monster by any stretch but I’m 6’4 and at least athletic, but he was still quite a bit bigger than me. Like a big TE standing next to a lanky WR.

“Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” makes me want to kill myself (and/or all the trailer park morons dancing to it) but I’m alright with most of his other stuff lol

Though this documentary was pretty cool.

I’m supposed to go to a Chris Young concert tonight. Should I bother?

Know nothing about him.
Take your woman. Excellent crooner. At least that’s where he excels. I have seen him live and really liked him. Similar to Josh Turner to me.

I generally don’t admit this, but I do have Rascal Flatts in my ipod. I also like Keith Urban and Blake Shelton but mostly because I think they are hot.
