Huge country fan, especially older stuff like Townes Van Zandt and Johnny Cash.

Im the last person that would expect to be listening to country music but I do enjoy it from time to time. I think as I get older and I grow to love my hometown every passing year, Country music rubs up on me. I don’t take the time to learn any of their names though. I like that song “All over the road”
That’s Easton Corbin. He has had a lot of songs that I have like. Saw him and Chris Young together last year in a pretty good set.

Yes, sir. I enjoy a lot of bluegrass and older country, like George Jones (R.I.P.), Merle Haggard, George Strait. My favorite new(er) artists are definitely Justin Moore, Blake Shelton, and Florida Georgia Line.

I am sure you have but just in case you haven’t, have you heard the Florida/Georgia Line “Cruise” remix with Nelly? I never was a big George Jones fan. Of the old guys, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash are probably my picks, along with George Strait. I like Luke Bryant, FGL, Chris Young, Jason Aldean, and Eric Church right now.
that FGL nelly remix was sweet, i particularly enjoy older toby keith (pre 9/11), tim mcgraw, lonestar, justin moore, jason aldean, chris young, brantley gilbert, thomas rhett, etc…and the list goes on and on, although i love all forms of music (white zombie, hatebreed, pantera, sublime, sum41, blink 182, black flag, the misfits, bad brains, bad religion…)

Country is definitely my go to for daily music. Jason Aldean, Tim Mcgraw, Zac Brown band are some of my favorites. But in the gym its always hip hop/ rap.
zac brown band is kind of hit or miss for me, i really enjoy chicken fried, whatever it is, and that new one “jump right in”…and gym is always hatebreed, pantera, job for a cowboy (not a particular favorite tho)
I’m a huge country music fan. I love the older stuff mostly and the sadder the better like hank Williams, hank snow, Waylon, Willie DAC, Haggard and Charlie Pride. My fav is Hank 3 hands down. I think the broke lovesick and drifting album is one of the best I ever heard. As for new mainstream country Eric Church is the man. Some of the best albums now days are by the women of country music with Kacey Musgraves, Kellie Pickler, and Ashley Monroe putting out killer albums.

Honestly, I’d say that ruined the original song. Nelly remix is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard lol.

Yeah, I’ve heard the remix. I hated it at first and thought that they completely ruined the song, but it eventually grew on me.
Also, I LOVE Johnny Cash, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Kip Moore, and Eric Church. Also, Thomas Rhett is up and coming and I really like his voice.

Hank III can do some classic songs, ahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtXnSL7Xl-Ynd when he does, it sounds so much like his grandfather.

Going to see Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Thompson Square in Indy on Sunday!
Ever since I saw them a couple weeks ago in Milwaukee I now consider them to be my best wingmen ever
I used to spend some time in the country so I heard it growing up. Recently started listening. You can’t run from your redneck roots. Allan Jackson Randy travis, Billy ray Toby keith, tim mcgraw that lifes good song by zach miller is dope too. I can only handle the good songs just like any genre. I hate the over the top borderline pop songs. Same with rap or rock I usually like good lyrics and a decent beat.
I am incredibly disappointed Chris Ledoux hasn’t been mentioned.

Says the guy from South Dakota, obviously ha
The newer pop country stuff makes me want to vomit, but I like country music that still sounds like country music. I listen to a lot of Hayes Carll. The radio in my truck is tuned to the same station as my grandma’s car, that’ll give you an idea of the era of country music I generally listen to lol
I saw Alan Jackson and Trace Adkins at the Palace in Auburn Hills, MI. Made me feel like I was at home for a couple hours anyway. Sawyer Brown put on one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.
I like all kinds of music. Metal is my favorite. Country is really nice to unwind after work and working out. I listen to Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, and I love to hear Johnny Cash. I never, ever, ever, listen to country while training.
most people think of me as a metalhead but I was raised on country.
Red Foley, Roy Acuff, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Loretta Lynn were my early favorites. though most of what I listen to now isn’t considered “real” country by a lot of people I know I like it. some of my favorites are John Hiatt, Toby Keith, The Band Perry, the Black Lillies, Los Lonely Boys, Old Crow Medicine Show, Asleep At The Wheel, Humming House, Maggie Rose, Josh Abbot Band, JaneDear Girls, Lyle Lovett and Blackberry Smoke.

Not a huge fan of the new country music either. I very much dislike Zac Brown Band and Luke Bryan. For me nothing is better than 80’s and 90’s country. Garth Brooks, George Strait, Joe Diffie, Rhett Atkins, etc. As far as Chris Ledoux, I have a lot of rodeo friends and have participated in a few myself. That elevates Chris a little for some of us South Dakotans.
That’s what I like about guys like LeDoux and what I think is missing from most contemporary country artists. LeDoux actually lived it, most of these guys nowdays are no more “country” than Kanye West is a “gangsta”.

You are one of the few people who would probably know who Rhett Akins is. Thomas Rhett that is releasing stuff now is his son. I cant believe I forgot about Sawyer Brown. As a former rodeo guy myself I probably should have thought about Ledoux but I always preferred Garth Brooks or Johnny Cash for my waiting around music.
