Anxiety and Irritability Getting Worse on TRT

@systemlord subq to im means dosage change??? WHERE are you learning this stuff?? Why do you insist on making these absolutely false statements?

Do you realize that there are TONS of studies out there that demonstrate there is very little difference in absorption between the two, and that a very small percentage of men will show a benefit using one over the other?

Listen to Danny. I pretty much was going to echo what he said and probably anything he says at all.

And guess who he was taught by. I know. One of the same guys who taught me. My very good friend Dr. Eric Serrano.

Yup that takes time as the other gent stated. Body is in flux

Hey there… I’ve been diagnosed with low T for several years…I’ve also had panic attacks when I was a youngster, up until age 17…then from 17 to 30, zero attacks…then after 30, they began again.

I’m 39 now and have been afraid to start TRT, worried that the raise in E2 while beginning TRT would cause them to flair up… after reading your stance on things, I just wanted to ask your advice…

I’m 39 next month…6’5" 250s… TT 315 FT 62 and E2 26.
I’m prescribed 100mg testosterone cypionate per week…planned to do smaller daily shots and possibly start lower than 100mg… what do YOU suggest I do?

I’m looking for any and all advice before I start!

Thanks!!

I just wonder why I feel good after the switch for 3 weeks and then hell. You think it wouldn’t get worse later on

Coming from someone who also suffered from panic attacks:

What leads you to believe that estrogen will have any impact on your anxiety whatsoever?

100 is a VERY low dose. The physicians I deal with typically start men on 200-210 a week (or 30mg daily). I had WAY more anxiety using a lower dose than I ever did using more. The one thing I have noticed is how much calmer I feel on a better dose and how much more easily I can deal with stress overall.

I’ve done many videos on the TRT and Hormone Optimization YouTube channel with several doctors. Check them out as there is a ton of info there. All evidence based.

You feel like crap after 3 weeks because, for the first three, you are adding exogenous testosterone to your natural levels. After 3 weeks, your natural levels get suppressed so your overall levels drop, and that’s why you don’t feel as good.

In EVERY case I have seen where the patient felt like crap after three to four weeks, it was due to taking an insufficient dose. If you’re taking a good starting dose of ~200mg weekly, this rarely occurs.

Let me be more clearer.

I started 11 weeks ago. Was on 140mg twice weekly(70 per shot) SubQ. Started feeling bad at weeks 4-8. Switched to IM week 8 and felt good for 3 weeks. This last week has been hell. Same dose just IM. Depression, anxiety, fatigue, BP ups and downs etc. Also noticed I get hot from the neck up. Sometimes I sweat. Nervous. Also get out of breath easily lately. H/H are good. I know it’s hormonal but is it normal to feel good then shitty for no apparent reason? You would think I would continue feeling better not worse since it’s been 3 months.

Any chance you can bump up closer to 200mg weekly?

The highest I can go is 160mg at the moment. My doc thinks my vertigo was from too much Test so she had me down to 140 but I’m able to go up to 160 if needed. When I see her again I’m gonna let her know I feel like shit and want to go up. My Free T was only 15, as was my E2. Those need to go up. How can I get those bastards upped? Also trough was 911. She even said I need more than most cause my SHBG was 80, which is now 40

How was your E2 only at 15? Were you taking an aromatase inhibitor?

Ask your doc to provide any literature that demonstrates testosterone causing vertigo. Tell her I will give her $10k in cash if she can accomplish this.

I took one time dose of 0.125 mg 4 days before testing. That will never Happen again. I don’t think Test causes Vertigo but the hormonal imbalance may have. Never had Vertigo in my life until I got in Test. Even with that low dose AI my E2 should be quite higher unless I overly responded. Still the Free T is too low imo. I don’t know what the hell to do. Should feel great

Throw the AI in the garbage.

Try the 160mg a week doing as close to daily shots as you can.

There is also a small possibility that you have an intolerance to the type of oil that you are using. If it gets to the point that you’re having a hard time figuring it out, try switching to a different oil entirely. Keep in mind that cypionate and enanthate are pretty much interchangeable for trt use.

My E2 was lower than that before starting TRT. But obviously not anymore. I still think it was responsible for a large portion of my issues.

I crashed my E2 once back in the days when I was under the delusion that E2 was bad. I can’t recall ever feeling worse than that in my entire life. You guys have no idea how critical estrogen is to overall health and well-being.

My E2 was 9 prior

I feel the farther away from injection I feel better though. Makes no sense. Just don’t understand why the oil would make a difference because I felt good for so long before got bad.

Honestly, just from things I’ve read on the various forums and message boards etc.

I just want whatever dose makes me feel my absolute best, without having to donate blood all the time or end up with gyno or panic attacks etc!

I love how you keep telling us what we don’t understand.
