Anti-Black Friday Store

This year, Black Friday has evolved into Black Thursday, with big retailers like Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Kohl’s and J.C. Penney opening their doors to rabid shoppers on Thanksgiving day.

According to the National Retail Federation, 140 million people will be shopping over the holiday weekend. While most businesses are busy drumming up techniques to lure shoppers and get them to spend more money, Patagonia has taken a vastly different approach.

The outdoor apparel company has launched an anti-Black Friday campaign, urging customers not to buy new items and, instead, to repair their old Patagonia gear instead. The retailer launched a partnership with iFixit to provide repair guides for every type of Patagonia gear, from jackets to clothing to luggage…

…no matter what i post, all you see is “racism”

Well, you did use the words “rabid” and “black” in the same sentence…

just like Jesus said "It’s all about the Benjamins "

Tree hugging bastards or not they make some great hardworn gear…Well, that and their founder is a freakin badass. So badass I think TC wrote about him in a Dog article.

He would hold up a dollar bill and say “whose image is on this bill?”

And the people would say “Washington’s”

And he would respond, “render unto Washington that which is Washington’s.”

This would not be a popular message around tax time.

Looks like some intense climbing.

Not sure about that but if it’s true my hat’s off to him.

Nonetheless, his company is a bunch of tree hugging bastards. Elitist tree hugging bastards.[/quote]

Yeah but I still buy their gear because its rugged and works when I need it too. Also quite warm. Besides, not many 75 year old guys still climbingcliffs and ice towers and surfing lol.

Yeah, he was climbing in days where you literally made a knot in the rope and chucked it into a crack and hoped it held up to a fall. No hexes or cams when he started. Pioneer of climbing methods and equipment.

We disagree again , I think he would preach on how we should drug test People that want welfare . And how healing the sick is socialism , Jesus was a Republican you know

I saw a homeless person eating out of the trash , along the road . It must be that food is so abundant (Thanksgiving)

how do you know they were homeless and are you sure the person wasn’t looking for cigarette butts?

the more they give for social programs and welfare the more the homeless numbers rise. and the programs are rife with fraud.

A new study by the CATO Institute, a public policy think tank, found that some welfare recipients make more “income” than those in the private sector.

A mother with two children in New York, for instance, is able to collect $38,004 per year in welfare handouts. This is greater than the starting salary of a teacher in the state.

And the problem is not limited to New York. CATO found that many states give handouts with sums greater than what workers earn in the private sector. According to the study, Hawaii is generally the most generous with benefits - there, a mother of two is eligible to earn $60,590 per year.

I think they would then respond with, “how about we give you 5 singles and two fives…”

That is today’s Jesus

I believe that alot welfare recipients make more than a Walmart and MickeyD’s employees

Monthly income , Insurance , and snap . I would not go to work if I were poor $7 an hour SHEEESH

I see some states are jacking up their minimum wage and one city is bumping it up to $15 an hour . I must admit it must have a small workforce that can not be moved

100% of the time those that go to great lengths to prove they aren’t racist are always racist.

Hilarious “joke” though. Get it cause we all thought you meant BLACK people! Quick photoshop some image calling me a name! That never gets old either.

They should call this Black-Eye Friday…

I heard there was talk of climbing on this thread…

I’ve never celebrated a holiday in my life, and I don’t intend to start.

Down with greedy sheeple!
