"Martosko added: “Most Americans are too smart to knowingly take dietary advice from PETA. But when animal rights activists put on the sheep’s clothing of the medical profession, it becomes harder to know who’s credible. Force- feeding animal rights propaganda to Americans doesn’t sound very ‘responsible’ to me.” "
Since PETA is no different than your run-of-the-mill terrorist organization, it seems that irresponsibility comes with the territory.
a) They have funded extremists and encouraged them to burn down buildings and incite violence relative to their cause.
b) They hate the human race and place an animal’s life in more importance.
c) They harrass and assault people constantly with their red paint escapades and related activities but cry like babies if they are ever protested against.
d) They are anxiously awaiting the arrival of various animal to human diseases through the consumption of them.
e) They ignore the basic precepts of nature and the meaning and purpose of the food chain.
f) They fail to realize that an apple isn’t intended for consumption but rather to create more apple trees. Consumption is part of the circle of life and the “food chain” which also involves plantlife.
g) Just because a plant doesn’t scream when you chop it down doesn’t negate the essence of pain and its associated healing and regeneration. Do plants feel pain like animals? Unlikely, but they sure seem to have the defense mechanisms to survive.
h) They have nothing better to do.
I’m anticipating that they will eventually resort to violence beyond the assault they currently perpetrate by splattering people with paint. I believe this will finally give the FBI a reason to formally classify them as the terrorist organization they are.
I’m all for the humane treatment of animals but I’m also for being able to nourish my body in accordance with my goals. Until some scientist grows something that has the same nutritional value as animal protein, I don’t see how I will change my views. And no, PETA person that is reading this, soy isn’t the end all be all answer. Soy burgers, ribs, turkey, bacon and any other processed products are just that; another processed product.

But if scientists “grow” something that has the same nutritional value as meat, it’s still an unnatural product and we have no way of knowing if it’s healthy or not.
I’ll eat real meat until I die, even if I have to raise my own animals and slaughter them myself.
I heard a story of PETA actually torturing and killing animals, and then blaming some industry for the atrocity just to make their case.
Most vegetarians eat terrible diets, and I think it fucks with their ability to think.
America has been so successful at keeping bugs out of our food that a vegetarian diet is less nutritious here then in say India. Bugs supply more protein in the eastern vegetarian diets. Then again I have heard one of the leaders of PETA (if not the leader) talking about the abuse of silk worms.
