Hi all, so I’m currently @ 175 and cutting for a wedding. In South Indian weddings, the groom doesn’t wear a shirt for a part of the ceremony (it’s a long story). So, I’d like to look good for that part of it.
I still have about ~40 days to go, but I figured I’d put my progress thus far up. Please Rate my physique as it stands now (I probably won’t be putting any more up prior to the wedding).
I understand the desire to look good in front of people during a special occasion, but I think you have reached that point. If your goal is to eventually put on some size I think it would serve you well to attempt a very clean bulk at this point. The worst that could happen is that you maintain your current condition. Losing more weight at this point would obviously set back a goal of more muscle.
And for a physique evaluation. The only things that appear to be lagging is trap mass and back thickness. And everyone could use thicker pecs. Start shrugging more.
Whose the guy in the background of your avatar OP? Big guy! Anyways Decent physique but you been on the site for 4 years i would think that you would have put on more size…
Hi Bonez, my goal after the wedding is to do just that. I used to be about 190 (now at 175). I’d like to get back to, and past that weight. I’ll shrug more
Hi Optheta, the guy behind me in my avatar is my trainer (he also took these pics of me). I used to be a really fat person:
and around 2001, just started running lots, and lost a lot of that weight. I came to LA 4 years ago, and discovered this site and din’t realise just how many mistakes I’d been making (like eating Soy). So, I’m getting there
Considering the goal is to ‘look good’, and not any competition of sorts, I’d say that you’ve achieved your goal, and should be proud. If it’s your wedding day, and you’re going to be around ‘normal’ people, I have no doubts that when you remove your shirt 99% of the people there will think “Hey, Enrac’s pretty diesel!” On a bodybuilding forum though, not so much, but again, I applaud your accomplishments bro.
When the wedding’s all over, we’ll put some meat on ya, and do something about those things you call your calves -lol.
You look decent enough for a wedding in my opinion. As said before, focus on eating meat and a clean bulk. It will benefit your progress. You have got some width, but lack overall mass. And start doing some overhead presses, lateral and back lateral raises… =)

Hi Stu, thanks for the words! My dad had the same issue with calves (he used to be a competitive bodybuilder in India). I plan on bulking back up, add some meat on my bones, maybe even my diet, who knows.
Clean foods. Push the heavy weight. Other than what was already been mentioned regarding the traps, your mid-back looks kinda shallow too. More rhomboid and lower/mid trap work would help that.
Watch your carbs too, as strict attention to keeping relatively low may help with the definition in the back as well as the love handles. Although that can of course be debated.
