Anna's Training Log Part 2 (Part 2)

I 100% agree with this. Women are intellectually just as capable as men. Some of the best attorneys I know are women.

That’s exactly it. Men have always had choices regarding their work. A man could live alone and work minimally, or he could chase wealth, or anything in-between. Women have had to tie themselves to men.

I always go back to: not all girls are attractive to well-earning, kind men, nor are all girls interested in attaching to men. And what of them? They should get to be whatever their minds can provide them.

Sorry I missed the question altogether :frowning:

I’m doing stuff with software reliability and incident management. A bunch of software components with known interconnections, and many monitors on various pieces that can set off alarms. Every aspect of that is in constant flux; new versions, new relationships, new monitoring strategies. Not a lot of consistency either due each team having a fairly local view of the whole system.

Lots of different problems within that to solve.

Currently I’m looking into ways to use those relationships to identify clusters of alarms to help with early warning detection and for root cause analysis.

I dropped a ton of possibly important details to boil that down to the essentials.

But we have a network graph that’s roughly accurate, and know about and track most of the alarms, as well as many of the changes that could potentially destabilize things. Sometimes we’re even a bit more academically rigorous and not just making things up as we go along
