Ppl have the balls to give YOU advice???
Surgeons and physical therapists mostly.
Well, you can probablt get away with ignoring them. Who needs four functioning limbs when two of them are just spares ![]()
Week 2: Day 5
Squat: 1x6-40,50,55,60, 4x6, 1x3 w/3sec pause- 65
Bench: 1x10-30,35, 1x5-45, 1x4-50 rep PR!!!, 4x5-45
Good morning-4x6-40
Tricep pushdown: 5x10w/30sec rests
- felt pretty good going in, legs a bit tired but squats felt strong and smooth, really killed legs though, bench felt really strong, proud of rep pr, good mornings hard on back,
Nice job!
Week 2: Day 6- conditioning
20min- [20x(5inverted rows+10pushups+15air squats)+max burpees in rest of time]-36
Bicep curls: 3x10/arm-15lbDB- no rest
Technique: HS hold
- To start- I’m 100% aware I did conditioning… It felt really good and pretty intense- inverted rows a lot easier than expected, curls really worked biceps
It would be a weird thing not to be aware of. Sleep burpees would be a terrifying new experience.
Edit: scratch that, sleep burpees would be awesome. I could get my conditioning in without having to experience the suck. Sign me up.
As someone who has unusually vivid dreams, it definitely “sucks “ just as bad
the food dreams are great though
I don’t remember having a dream. I assume I have them, I just don’t remember.
The average person has tens of dreams/night
I hate it when I remember them. Always plays out like some psychotic acid trip.
Week 2: Day 7
Weighted walk: [20min+5x(5dips+1flight of stairs)]-25lbs in pack
DB press: (10R+10L+8R+8L…2R+2L)-22.5lb DB
DB row: (10R+10L+8R+8L…2R+2L)-30lb DB
Weighted pullup: 3x1-5kg
Technique: HS hold - I got 30sec!!!
- felt pretty good going in, weighted walk got HR up , went by really quick, DB press and row complex killed shoulder and upper back but not too hard to complete
Uh, sleep burpees would be a literal nightmare. What are you thinking, man?
I swear to god I ate in my sleep last time I tried to lose weight. I’d wake up with different food tastes in my mouth in the morning. Sleep burpees would’ve been more helpful.
I hate burpees but I’d like to look less like a bowl ful of pudding. Sleep burpees seems like a winner.
My way of viewing burpees is as follows: 97% of the people I see doing burpees look like bowls of pudding. Therefore, clearly, burpees are the cause of this and as such must be avoided at all costs.
I view 1000lb squats the same way. I’m sure I can do it, I just don’t want to end up looking like Dave Hoff.
That has happened to me on multiple occasions
OMG, this is also exactly why I cannot bench 150 kilo. It’s because I don’t want to be fat.
This morning’s pic

Weight: 40.6 (probably includes some water weight from increasing carbs over the week), which puts me at about .5kg for the month
@Pinkylifting is that a reasonable rate?
