I echo everyone else. You kicked ass.
Thanks everyone!
I just hit 17x60kg for squat - HUGE rep pr!!!
And a HSPU PR- 41!
Now go spoon feed yourself that PB you greatly deserve and recover, congrats!
@Pinkylifting
I don’t feel too beat up physically, but I feel like taking a bit of a mental break before jumping back into sheiko. What should I do?
Good effort. Seems like a wasted opportunity for an actual PR? Weird point to go off program. Amazing nonetheless
I really wasn’t feeling it given the mornings disappointment, only had 30min, forgot my belt and figured that the priority is deadlifts so squats are basically an accessory
I feel like taking the day off even though I’m feeling great physically. Should I take the day off?
A bit of a mental break from the power lifts would also be nice
Yes, you should take the day off, go see a movie, eat greasy food, and junk with no guilt. It will do miraculous things for your soul.
Did that yesterday- the new remake of Little Women was amazing
I wonder what @T3hPwnisher would think of that statement ![]()
You’re half way there. Now go find some greasy junk food. ![]()

And no burpees!
I like video games more than movies.
I was talking about the “soul” part ![]()
Dark Souls was a good series.
Semi-trolling aside, I don’t really have strong feelings on that word.
Maybe I should check it out- couldn’t be worse than spending 15 min trying to get a screenshot of dead civilians
Also, I think I found a solution to my propensity to slack off- just “prescribe” more sets than needed, then I can get the work done and still get the satisfaction of “slacking off”
In truth, it can be frustrating. It’s a very challenging game. I like RPGs because I can take my time.
Has anything been made to rival Baldurs Gate yet? I just don’t have the energy to keep up with computer games anymore.
Apologies for the (likely brief) hijack @anna_5588
So the plan is to jump back into a prep cycle, but I’m looking at tomorrow’s workout (week 1: Day 1) and mentally, it just doesn’t feel feasible. What should i do?
See how you feel when you get to the gym.
You may well need a deload / reload.
a physical one or mental one?
