Week 4: Day 5

Back Squat: 1x5-40kg, 1x4-50kg, 1x3-60kg, 6x3-65kg w/ 1min rests, 1x3-60kg w/3sec pause
Bench Press: 1x5-30,35; 5x5-40kg
RDL: 5x8-55kg

  • felt pretty good, glad today was easier, RDLs pretty hard mentally- really killed glutes

“Deload”: Day 1

Note: This isn’t really a deload in the traditional sense. I’ll be in NYC for Thanksgiving break next week so I didn’t feel like starting cycle 2 and get interrupted before finishing the first week

For Time: (4 mile weighted vest walk+400m walking lunges+50 pushups)-25lbs in pack, 1:40

  • got HR up but not too intense, felt good and quick- FINALLY CONDITIONING

Deload: Day 2

8x(40sec battle rope+20sec rest)
DB incline bench: 1x15+3x3 cluster w/10sec rests, 6-1 cluster w/10sec rests- all w/32.5lb Dbs
Face pulls: 3x15-27.5lbs

  • felt surprisingly good, battle ropes intense- felt good and quick, DB bench really pumped chest- happy w/reps, face pulls pumped back

Deload: Day 3

Back Squat: 10-1- 60kg w/ 50 down by 5 pushups

  • really intense, not too bad on HR up destroyed after, mentally a lot easier than expected
  • too dead to do anything after :laughing:

Deload: Day 4

No official workout but 30min on bike+ stairs!

284% of goal… :man_facepalming:

I’ve been averaging 20k/day since May

Break comming up = less work= more time to walk around

I’m back with round 2 of Sheiko. I did train everyday on vacation, but didn’t feel like recording it :laughing:

Week 1: Day 1

Good mornings: 3x8-30kg

  • felt pretty tired (late flight, stressed), but felt really good under the bar- proud of 3x5 at 65. Bench felt good and quick, good mornings really worked back and abs

I didn’t get fat and tbh, I was probably in a deficit for most of the vacation since all the meat on thanksgiving kinda killed my appetite :laughing:

I’ve come to realize that, for me “ would you eat it if it were an apple” is a terrible measure for hunger- “would you eat it if it were a cookie works better”

I think you need to start smoking weed or something. Even heavy drinking would be better for recovery.

Week 1: Day 2

Bike: 10 min moderate
5x(20 jumping lunges+max battle ropes in rest of min+30sec rest)
Pullups: 25 w/ 5burpees every min- 4:23
Leg extensions: 3x10-40lbs

  • conditioning got HR up, felt really good and quick, leg extensions surprisingly easy but burned like hell, pullups really hard- barely able to complete, down to singles by 2nd min

More illegal than stealing coffee?

Yes, especially since I don’t steal coffee anymore :wink:

Although for what it’s worth , neuroticism might be enough for a medical weed prescription :rofl:

I did a huge deadlift workout this morning and felt fine after, but now, I can barely stay awake but can’t stop fidgeting- what’s up?

You sound sleepy and restless.
