This is a perfectly fine topic to discuss. I’m intrigued by this since it’s related to the paper I’m “co-author” of.
I was referring to the tangents when ppl were posting their own stats

There is a lot of research out there, easily googled. I will just say that as with any behavior, if it enhances your life then it’s fine, but if you are unhappy and it prevents you pursuing more desirable pursuits, then it is not fine.
As with drinking, eating, dieting, exercising, work, sports, television, reading, sex, grooming - if it reduces function or happiness (yours or the people around you), look at changing it. If it’s part of a nice balance, good!
Do you mean 2 days off before attacking the rest of GZCL or two days of a week?
If it’s the latter how many days a week is the program?
Why should you? You are looking to get stronger right? Does easy Cardio help with that end goal? It does not so you SHOULD NOT. If you feel like you should do cardio for weight purposes then does it not appear to you that doing cardio would be in order to achieve a conflicting goal to strength gain?
Regarding the other topics about time spent here etc, I agree this place is a distraction and time could be better used elsewhere for EVERYONE. But we are not machines meant to be productive 24/7. You have a shit load on your plate, you do a ton and if you feel like this is a good stress reliever/ way to escape/ way to connect/ whatever else then continue being here. You are hardly a jobless drop out spending your time online instead of getting your shit together
Once again, I think once you’re willing to do the hard stuff you’ll see the growth you want to see.
Unfortunately, the hard stuff involves a lot of NOT doing stuff.
Two rest days a week. I I’ve always done one rest day
5

Then if the program is 5 days a week with 2 rest days then it’s a good idea to stick to that and give the program an opportunity to work.
Have a feeling you’ll kill it next test day👍
GZCL is just a standin
Good news is that mum’s visa got approved. I’ll get gym access over winter break! Back to Sheiko!
You need CARBS!! Keto bread is not going to do much in the way of preventing your blood sugar from bottoming out which = dizziness. If you want to have good workouts - you need to have good fuel. Give your body what it needs and it will give you the results you want. The End.
I was going to suggest sipping on a 50/50 water + dextrose based electrolyte drink. Won’t harm digestion at all.

Updates:
Disagree. You are realizing there is more to life than academia and weights.
Edit: Seriously, go have some fun and enjoy your college experience. You already got robbed a year because of the ‘Rona.
Amen!
Okay, here’s the plan.
After I get my acceptance to grad school, I’m going to go to a party to check it off
Ummm….
Kind of missed my point there

Live a little
“I wish I had never gone to grad school” - a sentiment I have read or heard probably a thousand times.
“I wish I had never partied in school” - something nobody has said, ever, all the way back to caveman times.
Will this reference be understood? I think this movie came out before @anna_5588 was even born.
“I too like to live dangerously”…
not sure what it is specifically, but I think it’s austin powers?
My friend (that one) was really into movies and I think that face came up on the Jepoardy game
As well as going to a party, definitely go watch the first to Austin Powers movies. The third one didn’t quite live up to the first two.
