I can’t really keep up but didn’t you move out of your parent’s place?
I put my kettlebell into a backpack
I moved back. I only stayed there for 6 weeks, now I’m back and have to deal with it… truu you ign to see if any of my discord friends have extra space
Very confusing
Yeah, I could design a decent hypertrophy program given what implements you have. But, I am going respectfully decline this request because I know it won’t be accompanied by the required nutrition and will therefore do more harm than good.
Confusing indeed.
Good news is that a friend is going to stay in her living room until school starts, so I just have to wait another week before going to PGH and it’ll all be done.
I can live with only having 85lbs for a week. Doing paused front squats would solve that issue
^ This at the same time as front squat barbell…
Bench alternatives fwiw… feet elevated pushups, pushups (varying hand placements, varying reps, pauses, holds, add plate onto your back for loaded pushups?)
That’ll provide some of the carryover pwn mentioned above from horizontal push to vertical press.
Floor press is another one you should be able to figure out a setup for.
@raven78 @vision1 Good news is that a friend offered to let me stay at her place until the start of the school year. I’ll have access to the school gym starting in a week
If things change, I’'l try those suggestions out
Week 8: Day 1 (Yesterday)
Press: 6x(8press+2push press)- 65lbs, 3x(6press+4push press)-65lbs, 1x10-55lbs
Power cleans: 3x10-65lbs
Curls: 3x5-45lbs
- this really sucked, upper back tired and NOT cooperating, very disappointed, powercleans felt good though
Week 8: Day 2
Front squat: 7x10, 1x22, 1x8+20back squat, all w/85lbs, 60sec rests
Lunges: 3x10/side-85lbs, 2min rests
Good mornings: 3x10-65lbs, 1min rests
Pullups: 2x2. 2x3
Burpees: 25 regular+25 with squat jump+25 regulae
- got HR up but didn’t work legs as much as expected, 85lbs is NOT enough like this. I’ll add pauses, lunges and good mornings felt good, pleasantly surprised at pullups
Maybe try slow tempo squats with a pause. 5 seconds down, pause for 1 sec, 5 seconds up per rep. Real killer
You could also do 1.5 squats where you squat normally put only go half way up and then go back down before going up for one rep
Week 8: Day 3
Superset 1:
4x(10 military press+10 rows)-55lbs
Superset 2:
4x(5 btn press+10 rows)-55lbs
Pullups: 6x2
Conditioning: 2 pullups+20 burpees+2 pullups+15 burpees+2 pullups +10 burpees +2 pullups+5 burpees
- felt really crap going in but better once I finished my walk- took things slow, press felt pretty good- easier than expected, worked shoulders
New Daily work: 20 pullups+ 50 burpees, will add 5 pullups every week
Week 8: Day 4
1-5-1 of pullups and burpees
2min rest
1-5-1 of cleans- 85lbs and navy seals
Curls: 1x50-25lbs
Pushups: 200 for time- 9:28 @jdm135
- pretty tired going in, pullups took forever but got the work done, cleans felt smooth and got HR up, navy seals really slow
Awesome job! You have my time beat hard. And probably most people here.
Haha thanks! if only I could be as strong at pullups, squats, deadlifts… and anything else for that matter ![]()
Weel 8: Day 5
1 mile walking lunges- didn’t time, but somwhere btw 52 and 55 min @ChongLordUno
Pullups: 13 reps, took forever, basically had to do singles…
50 burpees
- lunges felt really good, wanted to quit 100m in, but something clicked and just kept going- was quite humid and got HR up. Also, since I’m a midget, each lunge covers about 1metre. still working on those pullups…
Week 8: Day 6 (Sunday’s)
5x(5 clean+thrusters “Cluster”-75lbs + 100m run+5 burpees)
5x(6 rows-75lbs+100m run+5 burpees)
3x(12 front squats-75lbs+100m run+5 burpees)
Pullups: 10x2
- really intense but felt good and quick, a bit slow on the clusters though, pullups took forever, but working on it!
Week 9: Day 1 (Yesterday)
Military press: 5x(10-55lbs+10 diamond pushups)
NG Chins: 2x4, 4x(3+10 dips)
Lateral raises: 4x10/side, no rest
- arrived in PGH, did shopping, pretty drained so kept it simple, felt good, NG chins are so much easier than pullups, but regular chins are harder
Just in time for massive lightning and floods!
yeah…CMU is on a big hill though and I’m going back in 10 days.
Speaking of which, Market district is great… but everything is freaking too expensive!!! 1.99/lb for bulk DRUMSTICKS AND no sales on meat IDK how I’m going to afford anything next semester

Yeah it is! An advantage card (little key chain barcode thingy) helps a little if you’re going to make a habit of that.
There’s usually an Aldi somewhere right near by too, depending on where you’re at. I’m in the southern suburbs with the same name as the cartoon with Stan, Carman, Kenny, Butters… So there are a lot of options near by.
Also
, but with a solution.
My nieces worked in the cafeteria at VT. They did pretty good.
