Anna's Training Log Part 2 (Part 1)

Week 20: Day 2

5x(4jumps-+10 shrimp squats/side)-25lbs
Pistols: 3x3/side-25lbs w/3sec pause on the way down and up
RDLs: 2x(3 w/3sec descent+3regular speed)-45lbs
Tabata goblet squats-25lbs

  • felt good going in, killed legs and got HR up pretty good,

@aldebaran yep, I’m definitely fluffier
I think this is what you think I look like

That was 6months ago

Jesus your mirror is even worse than mine I thought you had sick biceps veins ahah

A bit fluffier yeah but I really wouldn’t call you fluffy. You’re in a good spot. The difference in both pic is negligible, and need squinting the eyes lol

I used to…:sob:

The most frustrating part is that I’m eating LESS and still getting fluffier. Every time we go eat at our family friend’s house I end up gaining a lb or two that doesn’t come off

Stop eating less, stop putting your body in a stress response where it’s trying desperately to hold on to everything because it’s being starved, and do what you can to bring down your overall levels of systemic inflammation (such as excessive activity and eating things you can’t handle).

I saw you mentioned Precision Nutrition in another thread, why not follow those guidelines? For levels of activity and vegetable intake?

I don’t think you are fluffy

I believe the mirror could make friends with a damp rag

Looks like your shoulder is less internally rotated

Veins shouldn’t matter while you remain unhealthy

Yeah I don’t know how the details but I would guess that you put too much stress on your body, not eating enough, too much exercising and so on (I mean, you lost your periods right?) and you are one of the rare whose body is in “defensive mode”. Pretty sure you don’t have good hormonal balance right now.

Yeah for 99% of females a biceps vein should be visible if on PEDs or stage/photoshoot lean

Quoted for emphasis. If not on PEDs → stage/photoshoot lean is not a maintainable place to be in. People that are in photoshoots might never go further away from being able to get there in say two weeks, but they are also people not trying to significantly add more mass to their frame. They’re already looking good enough to be on covers of shit.

Also, I assume most people that are in photoshoots are on PEDs >_<’

I’m increasing calories starting this week as an experiment

No dairy or smoked salmon (sodium bomb) this week

That’s my brother’s mirror- what can you expect from an 18 yr old boy

I’ve been working on my posture and I suspect not benching helps

I assure you I am not and never was (unless the hgh I did in 6th grade counts)

This might just be my untrained eye and I’m not trying to be offensive but… I just don’t see much of a difference between the two pictures. The difference that is or is not there is so small it could easily be explained by lightning, daily fluctuation etc.
Posture is better but you’re not “fluffy”. Or even “fluffier” in comparison.

You will increase activity level and completely negate any potential benefits this will bring.

As long as you keep doing an exorbitant amount of daily activity you’ll be stuck where you are, at least if your calorie adjustments are modest. You are doing too much in a day, period. Flat stop.

Hi Anna,

I’m somewhat new to your log, and therefore reluctant to comment on your photos. I understand many people have concerns about your health. I agree that should be a top priority for you and for everyone really.

As far as the photos go, you are very petite and very lean. You are not at all fluffy. Zero fluff!

If your primary goal is size and aesthetics, any difference between those two photos is inconsequential. You look the same. You do not appear to have added any notable fat or muscle.

I have never trained for aesthetics … so if that’s your goal I can’t help. While I care about my body’s appearance (more than I wish I did), I am happier and I enjoy life more when I focus on what my body is capable of and not on size and aesthetics.

If your goal is performance based…than the pictures reallyreally don’t matter. Your performance matters. How are you feeling? How are you performing?

@Koestrizer Quite the opposite of offensive. I’m up 6lbs
@Voxel I don’t plan on increasing activity
@omats Thanks for your support! I want to stay lean, not because I like being lean or that it looks better. I dislike the idea of “losing” something I worked hard for (I was a fat kid)
@T3hPwnisher The therapist’s office is on holiday until 1/4. Will be scheduling appointment then

Week 20: Day 3
Military Press: 1x(28+2regular stance)/side, 1x(17+2regular)/side, 2x(14+2regular)/side, 1x(13+2regular)/side, 25lbs

@aldebaran
I do have bicep veins :joy: huge sodium pump from dinner yesterday

We don’t have the same definition of huge pump ahahah! Started noticing this a few weeks ago. Big carby meals make my veins double in size!
