Anna's Training Log Part 2 (Part 1)

So, you felt good Thursday you best not feel good systemically throughout your entire body tomorrow? Sure. Makes sense.

LOL :joy: I meant to say that I’ve finally had days where I don’t feel like crap somewhere

  • unfortunately, I got bad feedback on an assignment and Econ hw is harder than expected so there’s that

Also, dad’s back from China and some other family friends are in town so there’s going to be a massive grill night :sleepy:

Eat all the grilled food.
Have no regrets about it.
Don’t do anything to work it off.

There, I just planned your whole weekend for you.

The bigger issue is that when I overeat, my digestion gets messed up and workouts the NEXT day suffer, so it’s important to get the work done BEFORE
I never understood how ppl have great workouts after cheat days/meals

Do you do weekend planning? Because I think you just found a customer.

Yes. Just be warned my advice is direct to the point, and probably also objectively wrong most of the time.

@Voxel Lactose intolerance is geographically well-characterized, but I imagine that due to all of the variables at play with dairy intolerance, it is difficult to pinpoint how the other issues come about. It’s an interesting topic for sure.

@anna_5588 As I said, it’s not just the protein itself but also the form in which you eat it, from which species it comes, how that animal was raised, and we could go on and on. I simply mention dairy because nearly every day you post you mention digestive issues, and a large number of people have issues with it. I won’t ramble about this further because disordered eating and GI issues often occur simultaneously, and I don’t think anyone besides a professional can address this.

I don’t mean to be callous, but most of the posts here mention poor digestion and, more importantly, the fatigue you experience due to an eating disorder. People here want to help you, but you’re not going to see improvements in these areas unless you take some initiative. I’m glad that you’ve eased on the frequency of your training, but I imagine the excessive nutritional restriction and walking remain unaddressed.

And experiencing that twice one week is bad?

I never said it was bad

Just not something that you want?

Of course I want it :joy: I just accept that it doesn’t happen very often

Maybe stop accepting that. Stop accepting second best for yourself.

Week 7: day3

Legs ended up feeling a lot better, upper back decided to revolt though- I sometimes swear my various body parts are autonomous and bipolar

Sprints: 3x(10 high skips+20m), 2x(10 high skips+30m)
Pistols: 1x10, 1x(4w/3030 tempo+4 regular), 1x(6w/3030 tempo), 1x(4w/3sec pause), all 25lbs
Press: 1x15, 2x(5/side-1/side), all 25lbs

  • legs felt really good, stiffness even went away after sprints, pistols felt smooth, last set hard to complete
  • the plan was to do 3-4 sets of 15, wasn’t going to happen so I switched to something easier, good pump even with long rests
  • I’ll do rows tomorrow

Managed to not to completely go off the rails last night!!! Capped it at 2500

Somehow my weight didn’t spike this morning (93.2) despite being blocked up and very high sodium in the meal

@Voxel even though my digestive system is overloaded, I’m strugglng not to go over board on the leftovers. Any tips?

No, none.

For a regular person that has some ordinary self-restraint issues then maybe I could offer or speculate forth some sensible strategies/ideas/approaches.

However, I don’t believe your (self-proclaimed) propensity to “go overboard” is at all inspired by anything within the normal realm as described in the above paragraph and I’d be outright unhappy in having any active participation of depriving you of getting the nutrients you need to have a shot of being considered through that ordinary/normal lens.

My wife got this for me, and when I got over my initial jumping up and down happy, I thought of you. :relaxed:

Backside Label:

So there’s that. I can have ketchup again.

That’s great!!! Unfortunately, I also have to limit potassium :sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

If you don’t mind me asking, what are those values?

Doc didn’t give any, just said to limit…

I’d definitely seek clarification on that, Otherwise it’s just muddling around in the dark.
