Man, I’ve done WAY worse things for my shoulders, haha.

Like high incline bench…upright rows…really if any of those exercises are done right, including BNPs, your shoulders should be fine. If they aren’t you need to work on shoulder mobility first. Bradford presses should get thrown in there too. I like those but man they are tough.

Nah, like fighting, haha. 4 shoulder dislocations and a torn labrum from combat sports, only 1 dislocation from lifting.

Week 6: Day 1

Back Squat: 1x5,4- failed 5th rep(mental fail, 5x3-70kg; 1x15-60kg (max test)

  • I couldn’t get 5x5 so I decided to match volume. triples felt really easy but 4th and 5th reps impossible, really happy w/ 15x60kg. I know it wasn’t part of the program, but I was really frustrated with not being able to get 5s on the main sets
    Overhead Press: 1x5-30kg 5x3-35kg
  • still can’t get 5 reps at 35kg,

Good workout overall, legs dead. Still hate press
@T3hPwnisher Any ideas on what program I should do after BTM? I want to focus on deadlifts

Yeah that’s tough on the shoulders too. Just my nose was the only thing that ever screwed up from that.

I am always going to recommend Deep Water. Otherwise, I really haven’t run a lot of actual programs to be able to recommend. 5/3/1 BBB will give lots of rep practice.

Could I just run BTM again? I like frequency, and idk if I’m ready for deep water yet

BBB should cover frequency, tbh.

Week 6: Day 2- conditioning

AM
4x(5 overhead press-25kg+100 jumping jacks)
10min easy battle rope
4x(10 tricep pushdowns+10 face pulls)-17.5lbs
Wide grip bench: 3x6-35kg

  • I was feeling really sore and tired and NOTHING remotely intense was going to happen. I got HR up a bit, but pretty bored and uninspired, everything felt HEAVY

pm
20min bike- 4miles w/ some intervals
Pullups: 1x4, 1xmax-7

  • felt good and quick, pretty intense

Week 6: Day 3

Front Squat: 1x5-45kg, 50kg; 1x5-55kg, 3x3-55kg
Bench Press: 1x5-40kg, 45kg; 1x3-50kg

  • 5x5 NOT happening!
    Conditioning: 8x(3bench press-45kg+20 alt pistols)-10min

  • felt really tired today and mentally not into it. Squats felt better than expected and not too heavy, but form seriously broke down so I did triples instead of 5s. Bench mentally impossible, so I did a bit in conditioning just to get some volume in

I liked it, but it was a “hope your next session is better” like

yeah, I think I went too far with squats on Monday, then for some reason got super motivated to push myself on the bike…

TBH, there’s not that much to see. Just me struggling to improve my squat (I gave up on presses :wink: )

As someone putting on no more than 10kg to their squat annually I feel your pain.

You really are a walking advert for Deep Water.

And I say walking only because you’re not currently running it and therefore walking is a viable option.

Yeah, his “advertising” isn’t really working. I’m thinking about running BBB. I found a really good template

I’m confused, surely BBB is the template? Minus some very minimal accessories.
