I have trouble holding my breath and staying tight so I’m practicing
The set only took 10sec though so I was fine;)
I don’t even know if I could do 10 push ups ![]()
I’m 5ft and under 40kg- I think that gives me a distinct advantage in the bodyweight movements.
Although, pullups are a different story. I can do 40 unbroken HSPU (with a wall), but struggle with 5 pull-ups
What’s HSPU? My record for pull ups is 21 at 212 pounds. Pretty proud of that one lol
handstand push-ups
I’ve never tried those but I’d be willing to bet I can’t. Best I’ve done on OHP is 175 and I’m betting my arms don’t weigh much lol
If you weight less than 175, you’ll do fine- at least with a wall
Nope. About 35 pounds off that ![]()
You’ll still be find, I can’t overhead press 40kg
my overhead press is around 175 as well…i weigh 180, so hoping to hit that BW press at a higher body weight
My wrist don’t bend right so I couldn’t do them flat handed, I’d have to be on my knuckles and that sounds painful. Next shoulder day maybe I’ll try it with some dumbbells as grips
That’s pretty awesome!! I have no idea what my current OHP is, Its probably lower. Ive been doing nothing but behind the neck OHP’s for a while.
Was yours strict of push press type deal?
THOSE ARE EVIL!!!
I like them. I’m trying to build more of my side delts vs front delts and my simple mind says this is better
to each their own
Then that makes sense
Training should be simple. IDK how "simple’ your mind is though
Oh it’s simple. I’m just a hill billy that works out side for a living
This is the worst of the worst things you could do to your shoulders. Human shoulders are not created to press or pull behind neck. Strict and deep heavy millitary presses develop delts at every detail.
What if you’re wrong ![]()
About what? I trust on the scientific rewiews and works of kinesiotherapists and my own expirience, but it’s not an official source :).
strict. push press is around 200? not sure.
