Anastrozole Sides (Not from Low E2)

For probably 6 plus years on 200mg per week twice a week injections and .5mg anastrozole split into two doses per week, my sensitive E2 was pretty consistently in low to mid 20s.

I’ve had one blood test with 200mg per week eod injections and no anastrozole. My sensitive E2 was in low 80s. What’s interesting, is that since I allowed the conversion of T to E due to not taking an AI, my E2 went up, but my total t didn’t really change. I would’ve thought total t would’ve gone down due to allowing T to convert to E.

Edit: One thing that may have effected E2 test readings, is that on eod injections, there’s not the same trough, like there is on twice a week injections. Iirc, when my bloodwork was drawn on eod, it was two days after my injection, right before my next injection. And from what I understand, E2 peaks approximately 48 hours post injection. But also keep in mind, that my total t reading with that bloodwork was in the 800s. And that’s consistent with all of my other total t readings which have mostly been in the 600s-800s.

Try a 1/4 tablet (25mg), no risk in starting low and going slow. You’ll most likely need more (1/2 tablet) to get the same effect as 0.5 mg anaztrazole.
