Anadrol Caused Hip/Groin/Shoulder Injuries?

I replied. Tell me if you see the reply above. It says I didn’t tag you

US. Southern California.

So this is the hard part about it all. I’ll give you a timeline. It all started in 2016. A year after taking Anadrol. I played a successful college soccer season then after season I was practicing and felt my groin pop. I had never been injured before. My groin ended up never healing and I got sports hernia surgery. The sports hernia surgery failed so I redid it and it worked but then my hip started hurting. So I had to get hip labrum surgery. During my hip labrum recovery I started jogging and all of a sudden my ankle popped. I did not roll it or anything it just popped. And I found out after months of pain I broke a bone and needed surgery. Did surgery on it and it feels good now. My hip never recovered and now I need surgery on it again but since then I have literally only done physical therapy no real workout and my body as gotten worse. Double shoulder pain, as well as both hips horrible pain. I’m set to do my first hip surgery in April but I’m worried If I have an underlying condition it won’t help.

This has nothing to do with anadrol. This has to do with high level competition/overuse injuries and potentially not taking as good of care of yourself as you should have, neither of which can be undone by asking questions about anadrol on a forum. An AAS forum cannot help. You already have your answers, torn labrums and and torn ligaments. Ask the doctors that diagnosed you for referrals to other doctors as needed.

Competitive sports, over use stress injuries. It’s all cartilage. Poor blood flow and doesn’t heal by itself. Switch PTs, go to one and stick to it. If they can’t fix it they’ll send you to a reputable orthopedic. All they will do is debride the tears or tack them down. You’ll be dealing with this for the long haul so you might as well find out how to rehab it when it flares up. Nothing more to do, no more answers. SoCal has plenty of specialist, no shortage there.

Just out of curiosity, what’s your height/weight/age? Sorry if I missed it somewhere.

Really? Sounds like the kind that do orthopedic surgery

No worries!! I’m 23 5’11 and 175 pounds

Is bpc abs TB500 good? Where is a good source for them?

Have you been tested for Benjamin Buttonism?

How did the shoulders snap?

Are you trolling? Like the movie?

Randomly started hurting. Hadn’t lifted in months.

I really sympathise with you buddy. You’re young, never been through anything like this before. That compounds the physical issue with stress that no doubt causes depression as well.

With the hip /groin issue, was it related in anyway with weightlifting like heavy squats etc, or also running related, or it just happened?

Your GP should be referring you to proper specialists. If he/she isn’t, consider another GP. They will give you blood tests etc to rule out common ailments like rheumatoid arthritis, or other easy to diagnose immune issues. That being said they may not be able to find a quick answer.
I suffered a lot of joint pain and fatigue(and still do) which started around 18. I spent many years searching for an answer. The best thing the professionals could come up with was Chronic fatigue syndrome, which broadly explained my issues but is a pretty nebulous term. Which basically means that don’t really know what is causing the trouble.

Short term, start aquatic exercise therapy. It will take the load off your joints, but still allows fitness and movement training.
Avoid anti depressants if at all possible, because most cause increased appetite, which can lead to rapid fat gain, and extra stress on your joints.

How do you explain getting younger?

I got the post brother. Man I could not imagine being so young and in so much pain.

IMO you have an undiagnosed condition with your joints. Something your current docs are not finding. As other have said you are not going find your answer in a forum like this. You have got to get a doc to find your root cause. Then do your own research for the drugs you might need. Don’t experiment with peptides, SARMS or AAS’s it might make it worse.

I say that knowing there are AAS’s that greatly help joints. My wife(60) is on them, by prescription as well as T cyp, E and P.

Hey man I really appreciate the reply. I have actually been doing a lot of water therapy and water running and it does seem to keep me moving at the least. What kind of doctors would you recommend specifically seeing?

Thanks man. Are there any specific doctors you recommend on seeing? I’m considering starting with a rhumotologist and going from there.

Needed to do a bit of googling: I think your idea of a rheumatologist is a good one.

A rheumatologist is an internist or pediatrician who received further training in the diagnosis (detection) and treatment of musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune conditions commonly referred to as rheumatic diseases. These diseases can affect the joints, muscles, and bones causing pain, swelling, stiffness, and deformity.

Autoimmune conditions occur when the immune system sends inflammation to areas of the body when it is not needed causing damage/symptoms. These diseases can also affect the eyes, skin, nervous system, and internal organs. Rheumatologists treat joint disease similar to orthopedists but do not perform surgeries. Common diseases treated by rheumatologists include osteoarthritis, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic back pain, tendinitis, and lupus.

Mainly a rheumatologist. I didn’t get a great deal of help from them but they did rule out the common, easy to diagnose illnesses.
Doctors, even specialists are still just other humans and aren’t perfect.
My elderly dad started to get bad joint pain out of nowhere. The rhuematologist found out it was some sort of rheumatism and prescribed methotrexate. It seems to have helped, quite a bit.
I wondered if I had the same problem, the same doctor said no(but didn’t explain why).

Thanks man I’ll try that. How do you deal with your pain now? Also do you think the Anadrol could have caused any of this?
