About the carb ups for your fat loss - On the Radical Diet (RD) if I recall - you don’t carb up? Maybe look into that if you’re desperate to lose it. I think it’s 1500 kcal a day. I may be wrong as this is just off the top of my head.
just a question for you guys here about focus and concentration. the past month or so ive been experimenting with what i call “AD days” and “indigo days”. indigo being I3G as i still have a full bottle left.
i find on straight “AD days”, high fat, protein, little to no carbs, my focus is out of this world. mood is up too. like a bounce in my step. ill often do 3 AD days in a row just because i feel better, but workouts begin to suffer.
on “indigo days”, high CLEAN carbs (rice, potatoes, fruits and veggies), protein, and still 15g of fat per meal (4-5 meals a day). i feel lethargic as a pregnant hippo. my mind is all foggy, cant concentrate, all i want to do is sleep. but after a nice 300mg caffeine boost i rip apart my workouts and set PRs, hah.
just wondering if you guys feel the same on your high fat days vs carb days.

Yeah, I prefer how I feel on low-carb days versus high-carb days. My carb-up days are Sat/Sun I’m really considering changing my lifting schedule from Mon - Sat to Sun - Fri so I can lift after a carb-up day and recover on a carb-up day then still have pretty solid energy through the week for the rest of my workouts. Not sure though, getting up to workout on Sunday is hard for me.
How are you liking Indigo? Isn’t REALLY worth $400+ dollars? To me a supplement that costs that much money is a prescription and I should be able to purchase via med insurance. LOL! Seriously though, Is it really worth it?

Thanks, MAF. I’ll probably just do a one day carb up this weekend instead of my usual two.
Also, I’m doing the exact same thing that jaynick’s doing (IF, training on only aminos, AD macros for the rest of the day) and I’m LOVING the results… and I’m not even bothering counting calories, hah!
yeah, the one day carb up would prob be a good idea.
do you use the AD to gain too?
I’ve yet to use the AD to bulk, but once I’m done with cutting, I’m definitely going to give bulking using the same strategy I’m using now (IF eating schedule with AD macros.)

well, as I3G is my only Biotest purchase so far, i can say this is a completely non-biased review.
it works if your diet and training is in check. i ate lots of “junk” carbs for 4 or 5 days and DID gain fat (possibly water weight) even on I3G. but the days where i eat a shit ton of rice, potatoes, fruit and veggies, and 80-120g of waxy maize peri-workout, i can truly say it keeps you lean and lets you eat a TON of carbs. the muscle fullness and pumps is crazy too. FYI i am a FFB who follows mainly low carb diets when not using I3G, so being able to eat 300-500g in a day and not turn into the michelin man is truly a miracle.
in short: it works if you eat clean, it is NOT a magic pill (or 12) that lets you eat whatever you want, not that they ever advertised it like that, just saying my experiences.
it KEPT me lean, but it didnt GET me lean, like everyone else was. i just kind of got bigger. but to lean down i ALWAYS use the AD diet.

I can see where it could be useful on the AD Diet. Using it on the weekend to really refuel your muscles could be pretty huge. Does it work like that where you only take it like twice a week? If that were the case I could see ordering it because it could last a really long time that way.
RE: the above idea of using I3G on weekends, I’ve been meaning to pick up a bottle of John Meadows’ glucose dispersal agent to use on weekend carb ups.

that was my ORIGINAL idea to use my last bottle of I3G. but you see, i have NO will power anymore LOL. put a plate of pasta in front of me, 4 days into the AD induction now, and i will demolish it haha. i just cant stick with the AD like i used to back in the day when i did it for months on end. right now im doing about 2-3 AD days and then one I3G day and my muscles just suck up all the carbs. so yea, I3G on AD carbups would be insane!

once the I3G is gone, im guessing you’ll have no problem getting back on strict AD

ehh. glycobol was OK for me… didnt notice any “OMG SWOLE FOOD PUMPS” like all the review boards reported. then again i dont think i do well with gluten and my carbs were solely from oats so that may have affected it.

glycobol is nowhere near I3G IMO. glycobol is alright, i didnt get food pumps either. it helps a little with crashing after high glycemic carbs though.
day 1 back on AD induction phase. had a nice carbup last 2 days, so im ready to rock this shit.
lets hope i stay accountable this time. ill probably pop in with daily updates if anybody is interested.
current weight is 208lbs at 5’7", probably 14-16% bodyfat?, waist still fitting in 32" pants. 13lbs heavier than my avatar, 38lbs heavier than all the pics in my hub.

how much weight did you gain while using I3G?
so im still trying to do only one carb up every two weeks. to keep my sanity today would be a carb up on a normal schedule but im gonna have pretty much whatever pro/fat i want today…
bought a pack of b-fast sausage, some wings, eggs etc… just curious on any ones thoughts about it

18lbs. i did 3 weeks straight 12 pills/day, then switched to 4 pills with my biggest carb meals of the day (1 or 2 only). still have enough left for a few weekend carbups.
i started a log but stopped it after the 3 weeks. starting weight was 190lbs. i can link you if youre interested.

i dont know about you, but i used to get flat as all hell by thursday or friday on the AD. why the 2 weeks without a carbup?
changing periworkout protocol to something more AD friendly.
1.5-2hrs out - bacon and eggs, nootropics
20mins out - BCAAs, 500mg-1g ALCAR, 1000mg tribulus, 400mg tongkat, 400mg mucuna, 500mg nettle root.
during - BCAAs, creatine blend, citrulline malate, glutamine
post - 2 scoops whey
serious broscience here, but i feel the BCAAs 20 mins out increases protein synthesis, and i get a pump much quicker even on low carbs.

yah the faltness sucks but i still get size compliments so its cool lol.
i maintain on 1800 cals a day and usually 1 carb up a week (hypothyroid) and wanted to see if i could lose some fat. i really cant drop cals significantly lower to make a difference so i was hoping maybe skipping a carb up might help…
idk i was thinking about throwing some protein only days in but i already do that pretty much on fri/sat when i go out and drink lol
