Skid - congrats. Them’s is some heavy numbers yer pushin’ 'round.[/quote]
Thanks Steely. It’s not too hard with a range of motion of 4 inches though Hardest part is getting it off the supports. Once its up you’ve got the mechanical advantage - that’s where the holding of it comes into play.
I have a lot more respect for those guys who RUN with the loaded yokes, now.

Way to go! After today’s gym adventure, I think Ill add some of that stuff to.
Heavy Supports? Is that like a walk-out? or a squat from high pins? And you do them both front and back squat position?
Do you do the same kind of supports with your bench? lockouts, I guess we call them?
Big Work!

Sorta like a walk out except that you don’t walk it out. You just pop it off the pins and hold it for as long as you can. You don’t have to do them front and back. I just wanted to see how high I could go on front and back supports.
You can do them for your bench too. I don’t do them, but it’s not a bad idea. I seem to be stuck on bench at the moment and those may help.
I’m popping out of the groove on 2nd and third reps - if I make a third rep. All the singles were not too hard, but I hit the same bar path each time. This is getting just like the OHP’s. A little out of the groove and it’s a struggle. In the groove it’s almost a breeze.
Since I’m taking the next two days off, got a lower day in…

Dimel Deadlift

That’s it.
GM’s were done at the same angle as what my back takes on squats and deads. Haven’t done them since I injured my back a year ago. I have to keep my lats really tight to get out of the bottom without my back caving over so it’s good squat practice for me. Felt them way down into the sacrum.
I may keep the front squat weight the same and try to get faster, but I always say that and raise weight instead…
