If you want to see a Hipster go into a raging spit-flinging fit tell them that Radiohead totally sold out.
I don’t know shit about that band, but I know it’s dear to Hipster’s hearts.

LOL! My son loves Radiohead, though he’s no Hipster.
Hell, I’m so UNhipster that I only know ONE song by them.
They have more than one song?
Haha! Let me guess… it’s “Creep” isn’t it?
Yes sir Beavis and Butthead thought they only had one song.
But there have been many, many one hit wonders over the years, nothing wrong with that. I would ride that shit myself nothing to be ashamed of.
Frankly, a one-hit wonder would be great! You’d make a fortune, invest wisely, then do whatever you wanted from then on… and you could most likely still be out in public without anyone recognizing you.
Still get the invites to all the good party’s, but nobody would care if you got drunk and pissed in the punch bowl and got arrested.
Good. That gives me an excuse to post the video. It has the cocktail waitress from space with no torso or head. AND the Eliminator goes into space as well.

I have no recollection of that particular song (nor did I have the album), however, not surprisingly the ONLY thing I remember of the video is the cocktail waitress!

YES I had that “tape” and I remembered the video for sure, only time in my life that I watched MTV.
ZZTOP has to be my all time favorite band, never heard a song of theirs I did not like. Good memories with that song.

Okey doggone dokey, ID, what is the greatest rock ballad of all time?
I’ll probably get flamed for this, but I think “Stairway to Heaven”.
Yeah, I know it’s overplayed, so it’s become like the wallpaper in your grandma’s kitchen. But considering the era it came out of, it’s quite structurally and technically innovative. It never comes across kitschy or overly sentimental like a lot of rock ballads. Add in its length and you have one epic incomparable ballad.
I have so many favorites, but among my tops are:
“Ready for Love” - Bad Company
“Jamie’s Crying” - Van Halen
“Love Hurts” - Nazareth
“Love Reign O’er Me” - The Who
“Have You Ever Loved A Woman” - Bryan Adams
