just cause lance kicks ass he must be on roids?lmao
He’s just another sissy biker in spandex.
He’s the Man, no doubt…
DAN C, being skeptical about the fact that Lance kicks ass is just like being skeptical about the fact that I boned your mom last night.

CHRISMCL: I hate to bring you this, boy, but ask your mom of the night of passion she had with Bob Hope way back and it resulted being you. And you thought it was the milkman. Independent lab tests confirmed it, triple-check. Maybe that could explain the quality of your post. Now you know why. I wont talk about the gene-geneering job they added in the mix. Youre not responsible for your post. Don`t cry.
(Folks, I cant do otherwise than to answer in kind to stupidity. Nothing else works. Now maybe two wires will connect in this guys head and one day he will realize I questioned the methods for the results, which, by the way, in no way takes away the title and the said results…)
Wow, buddy. I was joking.

CHRISMCL: No problem, Dude! Hard to know when a comment like that is a joke or a pointy remark without smileys. No hard feelings!
No, problem. I’m just so used to mom jokes being a common thing.
The french hate him. They protest against him. He stated he tries everything to encourage them to like him. It doesn’t work.
God, they hate success.
Go Lance!!!
Correction, US=GG, the French press hates him. The French people love him.
If the French people hated him, there would’ve probably been a fan or two lunging out at him during the race to try and thwart his success.
That was the best Tour I’ve ever seen.
I remember watching Lemond, then big Mig dominate - but this tour had it all, in every category.
and another tough mofo by the name of Hamilton, who if healthy is gonna be on the podium next year.
Lance is the T-man of the yr.
US=GG: get off your France bullshit. there are LOTS of French cheering for Lance
Chrismcl: So you did. And you a native speaker… Shame on you! ![]()
Fitone: Please don’t use chrismcl as a model for your English. And I apologize for singling you out when it was someone else who said it first.
DocT: whuuuut?
Following the topic somewhat Lance is perfect genetically for the tour de france, throw in an insane amount of dedication and intelligent training and you get 5 wins in a row.
Patricia, I agree w/ you on the point that the media brings up his cancer issue and not him. But, if you read his autobiography “Its Not About the Bike” he talks about his cancer and recovery. And if there was a moment in life he would go back to its when he got cancer.
I think thats what sets him apart from everyonelse. I don’t know if I could go through what I am going through now for a third time. I hope I don’t.
In Health,
Silas Chen
Jared NFS: The only way you can call lance a sissy biker is if you can do what he’s done better. Otherwise…

Chuy, he was joking. Geez.
Thank you, DocT, for not being a moron.
So was I!!!
Lance is the greatest active cyclists. Armstrong is far from the greatest ever.
Eddy Merckx made Jordan look like Rodman.
His record of 525 victories, including 445 as a professional, (I don’t think Lance has even raced 400 times as a professional) is untouchable.
Between 1968 and 1974, he won a record eleven Grand Tours. He is the only rider to win all of the classifications (overall, mountains and points jerseys) in a single year at the Tour de France (1969) and the Giro d?Italia (1968).
He has 34 Tour de France stage wins (the record) including six stages in 1969 and 1972, and eight stages in 1970 and 1974.
In his peak years, 1969 through 1975, Merckx won an astounding 35% of races entered. No one has won the Tour de France, Giro d?Italia or World Championship Road Race more times.
The difference is that the competition is much greater today. Merckx would never approach that success today.
Geez, Mig has packed on a few pounds, hasn’t he? But a cool photo.
And yes, I’d probably have to put Merckx as the all-time greatest. But the pro calendar and the level of racing today has made what he did virtually impossible. That Lance concentrates on ONE race a year is just smart marketing. Win the ONE that counts. The one that gets the media exposure.
I’d love to see Lance take #6 – that would put the record out of reach for a while. But I think Hamilton has a good chance of making a battle of it, should he stay healthy (which has been a challenge for him).
