First of all: Do you know the difference between ammonia and acetone?
Second of all: Search. There is a thread called something like “low carb and ammonia smell” (turned out to be mostly acetone, but some ammonia cases) and there’s another one here:
in which a guy got rid of his ammonia smell by supplementing with citrulline (very simply put: ammonia scavenger).

Thanks for your reply. Ive found threat.
Im not sure how to put this, but I dont have the scent in my nose cause anyone could smell it. It’s a very salty pissy smell, somewhat cheesy
My liver and kidneys seem to be fine according to blood test though
I’ve added 20 grams of maltodextrine before my training and it took a little bit longer for the smell to appear, but after a while it was there again

So add more until you stop getting that smell when you work out?

Im not sure if that will solve the problem. I’m thinking for a bit and I remember I smelled bad when I was on a high carb diet too. Not as much as I do know, but still very stinking.
I’m gonna buy some L-citrulline next week to see if it’s an ammonia problem as L-citrulline removes ammonia from the body. Maybe I have a built up.
