Did anyone else see that assclown try swimming underwater on the eliminator thing? Holy hell, I thought he was going to have to surface.

That was pretty funny, he looked like he had never been underwater before.
I was thinking the same thing. When I watched the show as a kid I used to look up to the contenders and hope to be able to do something like that. After watching tonight, there is no question I could do better than these schmoes.
The gladiators aren’t as impressive either. I liked how the emphasis used to be on the bodybuilding type, some of these guys are pretty flabby and do not have much leg development. They may be more athletic overall, but a large bodybuilder would create more of the David vs. Goliath scenario that they are looking for.
155 pounds? Is this little kid joking around? Justice is nearly twice his weight!
I didn’t watch much of the old show so I guess I can’t compare it, but so far I’m liking this one. Too much of the contestants talking though, I’ll agree with that.

I’m rooting for the ex-Marine and the guy who should have competed 14 years ago.
But on a side note, anyone else think Crush and Siren are amazingly hot?[/quote]
That is the one BIG plus of the new show. I used to think the women’s competition was pretty boring, but some of the female gladiators definitely make it worth watching.
But in all seriousness, this show’s going to turn into an even bigger joke if Spider Monkey wins the eliminator. He’s lighter, so he’ll probably have a big advantage.
