Youve gotten bigger, but you looked half starved in the first picture.
I think its funny how T-Nation turns everyone into a hardass. Werent you yelling at me about how un-hardcore I was on my thread when you looked close to your before picture only 3 months earlier?
Keep eating. Lift more than once or twice a week. Figure something out. Train late at night or early in the morning. I dont think once or twice a week is really going to let you get enough stimulus time in to grow much.
Give up now. Save yourself some time. If you don’t have the fire in ya to go at least 4 times a week when you’re 20, what do you expect to do in your 30’s? 40’s?
well I work 60 hrs a week in a lumber yard. It’s a wee bit hard to find the extra energy
I’d always love to gain more muscle mass, but I’m in no hurry. I’d say I’ve made good work since the beginning of the year. I just don’t know why I’m a 3.1 instead of like an 8 or 9

Because people are being honest. You’re asking people to rate your physique not your progress. You’ve made good progress, but you still have a ways to go before you get an 8 or 9 (as most of do).
You should post your diet and program. If you are only hitting the iron a few times a week there’s probably a way to get more out of the time you have.

That’s pretty much what you look like (and I had to leave some out, there are some guys who got a three on here who look significantly better than you do.)
You may have made some progress going to the gym once or twice a week for the last 4 months or so, but you are neither big nor lean.
These should be before shots, train for a year and post again. This isn’t the website for guys who train “once or twice a week depending on (their) work schedule”. Not a good excuse anyway
