I haven’t been trying to gain for 18 months. I just bumped up calories for the second time in May. I would say I have truly upped my calories starting about 8 months ago. Trying to get all of my macros squared away and slowly gaining.
To throw a little weight on the other side of the boat: I don’t believe those commenting understand how truly remarkable your body composition is and that you are not suffering at all!
As long as your lifts are increasing, who am I to criticize.
I appreciate that, Nomad! I guess my main goal is to keep increasing my lifts and let the size take care of itself. I have also really started to focus on increasing weights on my lifts. I actually never used to track my weights until the first of this year. It’s made a big difference IMO.
That’s what I’m saying! His experiences and results should guide his next steps. The opinions posted here serve only to confuse and divert. Learn to trust yourself brother, you’re doing great! If things haven’t improved for you in a few months, maybe then we can brainstorm changes.
